Feel bad for the woman. Not an ounce of sympathy for the guy.

Edit: Too be clear, I don't think she should have hit that man, but that doesn't mean I have to feel sorry for him.

After listening to his awful preaching, I honestly felt no sympathy once that ding was heard. Fucking hell, the words coming out of his mouth hurt more to hear.

Kudos to the girl and hope she got off lightly. An assault is an assault still but this asshole had it coming.

I remember a crazy preacher got into my university's library and followed people around calling everyone a sinful goat fucker and we were all going to hell. He had to be dragged out kicking and screaming.

I had a Slurpee with me at the time and I regret not throwing it at him

Baseball bats and punches to the face have proven effective I guess lol


I hope the woman isn't given anything harsh, let's be real she's just doing what we all would want to do in that situation. And it certainly stopped this idiot pretty quickly instead of the whole "but we need to talk to them, and psychoanalyze them" crap.

For me personally, "you deserved to be raped" is not as much as a targeted threat to cross the line, unlike Spencer's genocide. That's a weird place for me.

But man, these people are so scum. I've dealt with them on a regular basis on my Arizona college campus, and they just live to hate. Disgusting and can't say I have much sympathy to muster when shit like this happens, at least considering this blow didn't seem to go too bad for him.

Also: there's always someone that is so sure that you're not allowed to record for some reason

next time they'll block the cameras and the view so she isn't visible. she just needs to coordinate her actions better. They'll get better at it as things ramp up and people on both sides start acting out more.

I just don't agree with celebrating this level of violence. If it was a quick jab from someone then I wouldn't really care but a bat? I can't help but feel like there was intent to kill.

Story is over a year old. This shit happens on like every college campus every day and people are smart enough to ignore the preacher and go about their business. Woman is dumb.

She deserves to be punished to the fullest extent of the law for what she did. We can't selectively apply the law because we don't like people's opinions.

These threads make me worry. You shouldn't be cool with assault because someone says something you don't like, even if it's truly vile shit.

Guy was an asshole, but he didn't deserve to be brained by a coward.

so I see the words "street preacher" and I'm thinking "mental health patient" that is on the street due to the wonders of the US system. Adding a baseball bat to that is not a good idea of dealing with that, at all.
