The implication seems to be you're obligated to either take the side of the scumbag rape-condoner or the woman that swings at the back of people's heads with a baseball bat. Pretty sure the "muh both sides" criticism is for when one side is so obviously more far gone and fucked. She could've chosen to not swung at him and her life would've probably been virtually unchanged to be honest, while alternatively he could have also died.
I don't think it's really that hard to feel comfortable in the middle on this one.

Yep. Harmful/bad opinions are threats because they want to validate violence.
And to be clear, I think the preacher should've been arrested or at least evicted from the premises. Just because we have free speech doesn't mean we should allow people to harass others any time they please.

just become a politician! thats how you change the rules (hint: you will probably fail in this because many people have a vested interest in not changing the rules and while you try and do so, many more will have to suffer constantly while you have to sit back and take it in your quest to change the rules)
