You probably do not even remember those games enough.

AvP 1999 was good for its time gameplay wise (arcade style) but it is outdated now. It did not replaced Jaguar's AvP which is a survival-horror game from marine perspective.
AvP 2's gameplay was not good like its predecessor's but it had a better plot and expansion. Nothing special nowadays.
AvP 2010 was never special to start with. Based on an aesthetically crappy film. Compare it to the first AvP comic book series from 1989.
Concrete Jungle good for its time. Partially spoiled by aesthetics of crappy AvP film but it has nothing on P:HG. It was already dethroned by it.

Also what a strange way to rate games based on probability of their servers being shut down in the future. What about other games that require patches, etc.?

P:HG is a better game gameplay wise (on PC at least) than Gears 5 and The Last of Us Part II? Do you think that arcade game's on laser discs from the 80s are better than those based on pixels.

You never said that tho, u said what game looks better on unreal engine.....u said nothing, because predator hunting grounds has the best geometry in a unreal engine game, now you're changing the narrative and saying gameplay is better..........

So again are u saying this looks better than gears 5

You see Crysis on PC never impressed me because games for me are about functionality and their gameplay. Not about being tech demos that you once check and really never care about anymore.

So let me expose your real message here: 'I do not like MP games but I like SP ones that do not require updates to work properly. Therefore you should buy SP ones only'.

What I said is that there is no other game to compare it to. You brought Gears 5 but it does not have interactive foliage geometry like P:HG has. And, yes P:HG looks better with its interactive foliage than Gears 5 with its (Oh, wait. Does it have it?).

I hope the game can at least be as succesful as Friday the 13th even though after this beta the impressions are looking doubtful, however I can see that molasar is definitely the kind of fan that is going to have people rooting for this game. :messenger_clapping:

I guess the real fans do have to accept it, because it's all that's left of the franchise, but hay at least it look better than gear 5 right, and you and the real fans will keep the servers running for a few more weeks.

The thing is that I do not try to convince people to this game. I just debunk false information about it. Also the funny thing is that all real fans I know already like it so much.

I already stated that I only like first two Predator films, and I never cared about other films you mentioned and still do not. And you just proved yourself that you are a fake fan by not knowing what products based on the franchise are being released. Do you read Predator novels, comic books? Do you buy all sort statues and figurines? Do you have or play card games and table top games based on the franchise?

Also I won't be surprised if the game will receive some sort of bots for offline mode. Of course they will be not on a level of human players. And you can always play the game without other players now. Just to mess with AI enemy soldiers.

Why player characters in Gears 5 move so slow in comparison to Predator and soldiers in P:HG?
 
This looks like it would be way more fun as a single player campaign instead of multiplayer.

It will be dead in 6 months yet single player is eternal!

Even if I wish it was possible, I can't imagine any devs creating AI that behaves similar to human players.

SP games can be eternal if there is device to run them on but do they stay playable?

There has been PLENTY of constructive criticism and feedback mentioned in this thread. The fact that it isn't what you wanted to hear doesn't make it any less credible. People have mentioned their legitimate issues with how they feel the gunplay is, with netcode, and with the performance and resolution on both PS4 Pro and PS4. All you're doing is moving goal posts and plugging your ears at feedback you don't like. Grow up, it's pathetic.

And this is coming from someone that actually enjoyed the trial for the most part despite it's issues, for fuck's sake.

As a matter of fact I do not have any figurines at all but I check what they do in this category. Some of those sculpts look gorgeous. Only real fans can appreciate this game completely because how somebody who does have any idea about the franchise can make a proper opinion?

We have something in common, I do not like it either. Neither its aesthetic style nor gameplay.

Are we going to start repeating what we already wrote before.

For example if somebody said that the game generally sucks because it has low resolution, does it mean it is like this for everyone. No it is not, so I debunked it and said that on PC it is higher, The same with its frame rate or netcode. They could say that they experienced this and that on this platform. And ask if others had exactly the same issue. But no they generalized it. And imagine if somebody reads this nonsense and takes it seriously. This can influence their purchasing decision negatively. And this game is not an isolated case on this forum.

Also you won't find any of my comments denying real issues of this trial. I do not create a false picture here.

To me the game sets the bar very high. Especially gameplay wise and the current generation of consoles made me playing games only for it.

I can't find any other game with similar or better satisfying gameplay.

Regarding Predator busts, I am not into them. I am more into dioramas with Predator in a cool pose.

Anyway, where are you hanging out on internet to talk with other Predator fans?

If he likes it, he likes it, more power to him, I'd love to enjoy a decent predator game, but it runs like dog shit on console, and is buggy on pc.
I would say see how it is in like 8 month, but the answer is itll be probably dead by then, and I'm not buying a MP focused game with no MP community and just a bot mode.

Who knows maybe pc modding community will do something with it, if theres even a community, perhaps the real fans can do the modding and coding since they know it all

You see people with the same interests usually hanging out with each other to share stuff about or to play games together, etc. For example you won't find me in places where fans of Barbie and Ken's Adventures gather. Also why are you here on this forum? To talk about video games?

I pointed out the aforementioned constructive criticism, several times. Just because you decided to ignore it since they were things you didn't want to hear, doesn't mean they weren't presented to you.

So how does tree traversal in Evolve work? Where I can find a gameplay to see it?

3D first person perspective and third person perspective mechanics are nothing new. I experienced them in the 90s. So?

And it's no different to evolve, same jumping and scaling, only difference is no tree, but the monster is huge so doubt it would fit in a tree

Why u cant accept this is just an evolve rip off, with a predator skin, that's not executed very well, it's great for a predator game, since the bar is low, in your logic it has tree jumping so is completely different. How you cant see the silliness of your logic is beyond me.

I think you're just clutching at straws. Just enjoy playing with your fan friends whilst the servers are still active, because u wont have long, I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Yes the rail running is very good choice for it. The game still has to render all foliage whilst predator running this way.

My gosh, foliage and interactivity is so huge in Evolve and the game does not have a blocky geometry at all. Wow!

No, Evolve is a rip off of Predator 1987. The devs themselves said it. In the film you have a team of highly skilled soldiers who encounter a space monster. So you say that P:HG had to copy Evolve which is from 2015 instead of the film. Wow! What a logic.

I can see that you do not have friends with the same hobbies, so you hate MP games. On this you have built the whole narrative which you use here.

LOL at Uncharted 1 as an example. A slow and linear game. And, yes the ends of branches move and shed leaves when Predator jumps or run on them. Not to mention smaller ones can be trimmed.

Give me an example of other game with similar features?

Pretty sure not even the devteam would defend this mediocre game like this.
I tried it yesterday with hopes held high but then I crashed into a wall of reality.
The game on PS4 Pro looks absolutely awful, framerate is all over the place, the controls are horrendous and then the game just crashed and I had enough after playing for 10 minutes.

I don't think this game will last even 3 months.
 
Let's list the things that I think would make this a better game..constructive so you can feed it back

1) fix the NetCode.....npcs and players warping all over the place is not a fun experience

2) if the enemy ai can't be fixed remove them all together...concentrate on investigation or retrieving items...example...you have to find the body of a cartel general and transport it back to the chopper...except you have to actually carry it and defend yourself

3) give the predator better melee abilities...throws....choke slams ect

4) don't make guns the only way to kill the predator .environment traps...flares....a better melee combat system not just for the predator but the fireteam also...imagine the fight starting with guns but it evolves into a melee and trap fight as the predator disarms your team and stalks you

5) multiple predators would be cool

6) if the predator is downed before the fireteam objectives let it spawn a super predator or an avenger predator

7) give the option for a third person view...the framerate sucks on the ps4...third person it would mask it better as you could motion blur.

8)take an idea from the shitty recent movie...you could have a good predator working with the fireteam or anti predator gear

9) predator trash talking needs to be added...."turn around....turn around"...."want some candy....

10) needs a cover system...you could cover yourself in mud and stick to a tree or rock....this will give your fireteam a way to outsmart the predator
