You don't believe that he's actually going to do that, if elected, do you? If there was any reason to actually indict Hillary Clinton, any reason or evidence or anything... why not release that and do it now? Why even wait? If it exists, it should be easy. What's there to lose? So we're left with him either lying or incompetent. In either case, why reward it? If Hillary's so corrupt, so evil, so criminal, it should be a simple matter right? But yet time and time again, they fail. Why reward that incompetence? Why reward someone who can't actually do something they claim to be so simple? Why reward someone simply for spewing hot air while showing no ability to actually be able to do so and follow through and just continue to let her go free time and time again? If it's really so easy, but yet they fail, who needs them? What good are they?

The whole thought process is entirely inconsistent and leads to the logical end point that all the Republicans, including Trump, deserve to come nowhere near power for failing in the simple task of sending the clearly criminal Hillary Clinton to jail and just letting her go free time and time again, scandal after scandal. Sad!

Bernie was a terrible, terrible candidate. This country needed a strong, moderate republican candidate to counter-balance the tea party hate group that has taken over one of 2 political parties that mean anything. While most find glee in the destruction of the Republican party what we needed were two candidates that can move discussions forward. Do you honestly feel the discourse would be any different if Bernie was the nominee? Don't blame Hilary for the state of political affairs that we all witnessed last night..

It was fortunate, and I guess fair for Trump that the email thing came up right up after the tape issue. If his stammering about locker room talk and ISIS was followed by the Pence comments or the tax issue it might have been difficult to retain composure.

If you can watch this and then run to GAF with a summary that is simply "I want things", it is clear that marriage equality, Roe v Wade, Citizens United and filling the vacancy are not issues that are of concern to you. In the first post I quoted, Kor said HRC's responses were just "nonsense that no one really gives a shit about." But these "things" matter a great deal to a great many people and the BSers are giving themselves away by how easily they dismiss such issues.

Honestly at this point I've given up being alarmed or frustrated by both sides crap. It's a position held at this stage of the election almost exclusively by the willfully ignorant or the cowardly who'd rather not publicize their support for Donald Trump.

Obama's win against Hillary destroys your "Clinton machinery" talking point. Obama was far, far more unknown than Bernie then, as well as a shitload of other perceived disadvantages against Hillary. Not to mention Hillary did not have the baggage (emails/benghazi/etc) she had today- yet, he still won. Bernie fans can never admit that he lost fair and square, by every metric, and thats sad.

I disagree. Obama was such a much better speaker than Hillary, miles better.

Yeah, it's one of my biggest pet peeves. People who don't know anything/are too lazy to know anything trying to inject themselves into the conversation to get attention back on them. There's not really a whole lot of difference between "both sides are bad, fuck this election" and Trump's whole "we're not winning anymore, everything is terrible" shtick, or if nothing else about the same amount of thought went into both statements. It's basically as bad as people who think they're really smart when they present that fraud study about how vaccines cause autism.

I feel like it may be a coping mechanism on some level to make you feel like your own life is separate from the bad things in the world? I don't have too much sympathy though because it's definitely a bad thing.

Jeeeeez, that guys 42? Jeeeeeeeeeez.

It's kind of amusing to watch the remaining Trump defenders start to lose their cool now. Like Trump I guess they figure they have nothing to lose so they are just going to come out with it. Let's see if it pays off.

That's actually a good request. Because she is such a divisive figure in politics it will be difficult finding anyone discussing her flaws with objectivity and without overt bias. Politifact lists statements she has made that are mostly false, completely false and flat out distortions. You could start there if you're trying to get an idea of her weak points. Ontheissues.org also has an insanely exhaustive record of her voting history and stances on issues in general, which anyone can use to get an idea of the type of politician she is.

I'm actually enjoying the Trumpers lose their shit and just go whole hog. It's entertaining watching them slowly realize that the chances of their orange overlord they stood behind getting into the White House become slimmer and slimmer. And I will greatly enjoy it on Election Day. >:3

This whole only hearing what you want to hear thing is annoying. Hillary was clearly not for coal, and wants to give those workers and many others a new task in renewable energy.

In other news fuck Donald Trump and those who still support him. Hillary is somewhat right decent amount of the United States are bigots and sure they are not as bad as trump himself but are shitty people none the less and have to agree with his shitty beliefs or are just too dumb to look past some emails that lead to a whole bunch of nothing.

What's amusing to me about that is many if not most Democrats identify as Christian so her line of thinking isn't that far off from what many believe, even if they aren't open about it.

His fellow senators and congressmen knew who he was, worked DIRECTLY WITH HIM, and they were superdelegates and went with the democrat running, not the independent.

Trump was specifically referring to miners, but Hillary seemed to be focusing on the broader users of fossil fuels, which I assume would include the people who also work in coal fire power plants and other associated industries that use coal.
