What do you guys think of all the problems *MENTIONED HERE* regarding PGR3? These complaints are starting to get me worried
lol,you don't sound worried to meisamu said:LOL hate to say I told you so but you guys should've bought Ridge Racer instead
It rocks and has NONE of these kinds of flaws!!!
Jerkface said:It seems like people are complaining about being forced to use certain classes of car in the online career mode, but are failing to see that that is the point!
isamu said:Why are you guys turning this into an RR6 vs PGR3 thread? All I'm asking what do you make of these alledged issues mentioned in that poster's post? I would hate to have to deal those issues after picking up the game?
DCharlie said:i expected to get more into Gotham (as i loved the previous two) but it hasn't happened yet...
because i can't stop playing ridge.
Ridge isn't the most innovative , sexy tech, super amazing looking game ever, but it's so insanely solid and pick-up-and-play fun that i can't put it down.
it's not something that's going to make people go "oh my god, that's what next gen is all about!!!" - doesn't make it any less fun though.
isamu said:LOL @ the trolls. :lol
I bet half of you haven't even played either game that's why you're dodging the issues. Little do you know I will be buying both games and playing them both to death and enjoying them both, equally. So go ahead, continue to derail the thread not discuss the fact that you can't specify cars or classes in the Live Playtime mode which absolutely sucks!
Can't see who is talking on Live? That's just downright inexcusable.

Gek54 said:PGR3 is just rushed BS. Nurburgring is bad enough by itself but you can only race B class and my favorite part was the challenge for the platinums which are too easy. I hope they take their sweet time nailing Forza 2 down.
"Have you played the PSP version? Is it challanging like that?"
PGR3 TOO EASY, SAY FANS
And they've moaned about a lot of other things in the game too, like unbalanced cars and online restrictions
13:55 You can never please some people. Case in point: Project Gotham Racing 3. Lining up on the start grid for Europe's Xbox 360 launch day this Friday, Bizarre Creations' next-gen racer has already zoomed out in a puff of exhaust fumes in North America - only to have its bumper dented as it collides with a number of criticisms from fans about various aspects of the title.
Bizarre Creations' own community forums have been abuzz with players posting comments of displeasure and concerns since November 22, probably the biggest grumble being that the single-player game is too easy and as such presents a shorter single-player experience than predecessor PGR2. But Xbox Live features have come under fire too, in particular the restriction to certain car classes based on circuit in ranked online modes - although to be fair this has found favour with punters as well. It's turned into a hotbed of debate.
Additional annoyance is levelled at the Ferrari F50, which fans are saying is too powerful and unbalances Xbox Live games, and the bizarre apparent omission of a race-time clock on-screen, meaning that if you want to measure lap times you either have to keep glancing at your watch or employ a scantily clad woman to call out the seconds as you race. Actually, that last bit doesn't sound so bad...
So there you go, Project Gotham Racing 3 is a big steaming poo. Er, well maybe not as there seems to be an equal number of devotees singing its praises too and bear in mind these people are American.
Still there'll always be people who moan, a bit like there'll always be people who shove a trolley up your arse while queuing at the till in Sainsbury's. That's life. Or something. Anyway, we'll have a review of PGR 3 up on these pages soon so keep 'em peeled for our verdict on Bizarre's next-gen burn-up.
