PS Now Games for July - Judgment, RDR2, God of War & Nioh 2

A lot of people have a reaction to Sony's selection of free ps plus games but let's keep in mind thanks to Xbox live's success ps plus and paying for multiplayer is a thing because of it.

I agree, especially because of how cost-effective it is. You get one year of PS Now for just $60. $45 if you get it via an official sale on PSN or around $35 if you get the code from other sources. That's fantastic value.

My only complaint is that there is a lot of overlap b/w PS Now games and PS+ games. So for someone who has both subscriptions don't get any benefit, but instead lose out on a few games every year. If they fix this issue, I will find even more value. ~$80 / year (or $6.5 p/m) for both subscriptions, and you get 7-10 games every months.
Also PS Now isn't available worldwide. Even 7 years later. I don't get why.

Let's hope they're working on it. The streaming part of the service might be a hit for the casuals once internet infrastructure allows for it for more people in the future.

It's not available in my country either. I mean you have the entire 'downloadable' section. You just can't stream games. I am not a fan of streaming anyway, so I don't mind. But yeah, worldwide expansion should be done regardless.

Have to get decent internet first. It's fucking woeful. One of the worst in the world. The only good connection I've ever had was in Sydney with Optus, and that was far from perfect. Australia is the third world internet-wise.
I don't know where you are but it's not like that anymore for majority of Australia. It's pretty common to get minimum 50-100mbps speeds minimum. I myself have been on about 250 down for a couple years now. That is not the entire reason.

The larger cities are fine, but not so much elsewhere.

Currently 60th in the world, which is a bit better, granted…

Size of the country doesn't help, but the government have been clusterfucking NBN for years now. Good for you for getting a good connection though 👍

I'm not a fan of stuff like PS Now, but if you have it, play Judgment.
I can't wait to play the next one in the series.

I love it when they add things to coincide with sorting events, I was never going to buy Tokyo Olympics 2020, but look forward to having a go of it whilst the games are on 👍
