Anyone know of anywhere in the UK that has PS2s available for order? I realise it's a tall order, but I could do with finding somewhere it's possible to lay your hands on one before Christmas...

If the specified area/store gets a new shipment when closed you're going to know about it first and should be able to reserve one for in-store pick-up before they open.

I got a prince of persia (1) pack in fat PS2 FWIW.

Prolly sell it and hold out for PS3 (nothing on the immediate horizon that I'm planning on playing)

Always good to have options if you can't get a slimline (I could drop it off if you're down reading way). Sure its not slimline, but at least it ain't a gamecube (about all thats left in the UK right now - no PS2s, no Xboxes, very few SPs)

Fly to Basel (from Liverpool or London via Easyjet) and buy one from Media Markt, Manor or InterDiscount. They're 199 CHF, and I think the airfare is 79CHF or so.

That's approx 125 quid, if I'm not mistaken. Most stores had PS2s at the weekend, but I dunno if they're still there.

PAL PS2 Slimlines are all over the place here in Germany. Have you considered importing from EU countries?

Blinx ownz space and time so that’s just impossible, maybe it accounts for the missing PS2’s?

Currys have been getting small batches in every week for the past few weeks so maybe you should try ringing there every weekday (only get deliveries on weekdays) in case they get any in. Also try Dixons and PC World as they are the same group and so probably get a few as well.

Amazon.co.uk had a good few in stock yesterday but are gone now. Maybe you should place an order there although time is running out for them to get it back in stock and deliver it on time for Christmas.
