Hmm, the fighting begins with BG deals now. That PS4 is looking awfully tempting. Are those 2 free games d/l codes?? I already own TLOU on sale awhile back for half price. I might be able to sell the codes and get the console close to 299.99 and definitely worth it then. I think Sony was just won the holidays NPD. I'm betting MS has to get more desperate bargains to entice consumers.

Most likely physical copies as the bundle is not official as far as I can tell but rather a Dell promotion. Also when Destiny was bundled with the PS4 you got a physical copy.
How about some more deals on games for those of us with the systems already? That's what I'm waiting for.

You're right about site visits and everything but if they wanted to they could extend it to every ps4 and jack the price up afterwards by 50. Its still a deal
The 500GB PS3 with those games + TLOU DLC would be around $325.

GTA V and TLoU are arguably better games than both AC games, and you get the HW that has the better tech chops and is currently the cool console to own so... yeah, not really.

These days (maybe since E3 2013) it's been stuck in my mind that Xbox One should be priced lower than PS4. They got rid of the Kinect and now it's the same price. I was expecting their Black Friday deals to be even lower, near $300 on the dot. With deals on top of deals already happening for Xbox One with little success any kind of deal for the console just don't really surprise me anymore (unless it was under $300 with a game). For it's pack in games, I'm not at all interested in the Assassin Creed games. However GTA5 and TLOU PS4 is a awesome deal because I know those are great games, both should be at 1080p, and one is 60fps so they will look great on the tv.

Hm... I wonder if the PS4 one will, too. I prefer physical copies since my download speed is pretty shit. And I have a feeling both of those games will have massive downloads.

When have US retailers included sales taxes in their ads?
I think the PS4 might just be the retail games as it doesn't seem like it is an actual Sony produced bundle.

I got it. People don't know what they want. Ask for PS4 deals, get the deal, and call it a port station deal (two amazing games built in the gen they were arguably designed for). GTA5 was bad on last gen, the framerate was horrible, not fun on the eyes.
This bundle isn't Sony made though. It is Dell taking a loss as a BF deal for the usual reasons.

My post was more in the vein of ... a string of events I have seen, people asking Sony to compete followed by Sony competing followed by a bunch of people complaining about the bundle not being good enough a stuffed full of ports. Like I said, it was a shit, rushed post done on my iPad. Not a fake troll attempt.

That Xbox One AC bundle is tempting... but I'll see what other retailers have. I'd prefer the Sunset Overdrive bundle with an extra game and/or controller.

Yes it has to some extent, xbox360 made it's mark because even though Sony marketing said ps3 was superior everyone knew that the 360 was putting out the better looking versions of games and doing it for less money.
Anyway, it is having an effect now, clearly.
