I plug the headset that came with it in, the icon shows up that I'm talking but nobody hears it. Anyone know how to fix that?

To me in design they seem similar to the PS3 triggers. However, there is a lip now which makes the triggers extremely easy to access. The PS3 triggers are the worst triggers in existence. That lip makes a huge difference and the PS4 triggers are great. I'd say there is a little more resistance to the PS4 triggers vs XBox 360.

They're good but the only problem is that the initial push is SUPER sensitive. Sometimes I'll be turboing in NBA 2k without even knowing.

Hot damn this system is everything I had hoped for. Gorgeous as hell in the living room standing Vertical. I am maybe 5ft away and cannot hear it at all. Whisper quiet. The UI is fast as hell and effective. And fuck me this controller is PERFECT.
Me and RESOGUN will be getting a lot of time together and picked up Black Flag. Also went ahead and got Flower with my 10$ PSN.
Fuck this system ROCKS.

I love the triggers but they don't feel exactly like the 360 ones.
I turn mine off fully. The 2 times I tried stand by, it took a while on one, and then it froze the other.
Doesn't it charge even if it's off?

It is actually downloading, I don't know why it says installing, but it is downloading the rest of the game.

That makes sense. I don't like how it shows up as complete in my download manager, and I don't like that it didn't finish while in standby mode.

Just got the black panther and greatness truly has arrived!! Such a beautiful machine. Love how the lights make It seem like its breathinglove the new UI. It's so fast and responsive plus omg the background downloads. Everything is auto downloaded and ready to go!!

I assume the fan noise is perfectly normal when playing a game like killzone?
It's not too bad, but definitely noticeable. Seems louder than my PS3 slim. Also, blows pretty hot out of the unit, but the unit itself is cool to the touch.

How do I tell if my PS+ code worked? The PS+ games have a strikethrough over the price and "free" next to a + icon, but I'm not sure if that means "hey it'd be free if you were a member" or "it's free"

Oh well. No biggie. Hoping to spent more time with it and Killzone. Between Sunday and today (Wednesday) I've played only 1 hour of the game (work, etc.).
Think that just a place holder. You have to download the app to use them.
Also i want to delete music and video unlimited.

I'm sure this has been mentioned a few times but if anyone else was looking for the option to bitstream audio *for blurays* you use the Settings menu while in a bluray movie, not the main audio settings for the console.

I've noticed it's quieter and cooler when horizontal (probably since it's sitting on a vent when vertical), so that's an option to cut down on it a little if you have it vertical.

Not as good, but way better than PS3.
I remember giving up on Resistance after an hour because of how bad the controller is for shooters.
The same-axis analog sticks is still a huge transition though.
