can you switch user accounts without having to quit games and log everything out? I like how on Xbox if you're playing a game, and then someone else comes in and wants to play the same game, they can just go 'show my stuff' and then start the game and it can switch save games without logging everything out.

quite often my son will want to play something immediately after he kicks me off the PS3, so that'd be useful.

Enjoying my purchase still so far. Spent most of my time lately grinding and dealing with BF4 issues in order to unlock the different gun types through the classes / kits. Least with that done I won't have to do it once the game is stabilized by EA.

Finally cracked open AC 4 last night after downloading the new patch and I am definitely digging the game already. Even though it is a cross gen game I still think it looks great and no performance issues whatsoever.

All in all the only negative experience so far is just EA and their wonky server / game crashes.

Does the iPhone headphone have a little box on it with a hole on the cable? That's a microphone. Most phone headphones have a mic built into them.

Might pay to note that if the iPhone headphones you're using are the "EarPods" / latest model. These produce a buzzing noise on the PS4 for some reason.

So best not to use them in a game for voice or party chat.

Yes, multiple accounts can be signed in at once and switched between. Whichever user wants his homescreen, just needs to hit the PS button.

I feel dumb now. I'm 90% sure I went into settings specifically to find a way to set up auto shut down and came up with nothing. It was in power saving settings exactly where it should have been

As noted in the update thread, I'm very happy to wake up the PS4 from stand by and immediately be greeted by the update FW prompt. And the FW installed super fast. Faster than any FW on PS3 ever did and even Vita FW updates.

Yes, it works. Mic works great, audio quality is perfect

this is my solution. Not the most appealing but better than seeing "Chauncey Tenderbottom" on my profile.

Speaking of Facebook, I found a bug. If you change your profile pic on Facebook, it won't get refreshed on the PS4. When you go to select Facebook profile image it shows the new one, but the small thumbnail and what is shown in activity and so forth is still the old one.

You can universally join games but not universally send invites. If you go to someone's profile and they are joinable you can see: player list, map name, time left, right from the dashboard.

That was there before the patch. They disabled them when the PSN was acting up. Those have been working for me the past couple days now.

Yesterday when I turned on my PS4 it started downloading ACIV and NFS stuff.

All my settings seem to be correct for allowing it to auto-download. Unless it has a specific time like the PS3, didn't look for that.

Can people find me on PSN via my "real" name? Its just a nickname but a really hate my PSN ID I choose 6 years ago lol.

It does it the way I anticipated although it would be nice if it did it all on its own. It was nice seeing the prompt as soon as I woke up the PS4 from stand by though.

I actually want to see the process and have a hand in it though since these FW updates are rather important to just leave the console to handle it all. I like seeing that everything went fine instead of waking up to a crash or something.

Got my system yesterday. As of now, i have no problems, controller is working fine and wow is it amazing !?! online was perfect to me, downloaded Killzone, COD Ghost and NFS Rivals. It was very fast, i could play Killzone and COD campaign after 20 minutes, i was amazed by how everything went smooth.

I gotta say, i'm damn impressed by the PS4 on pretty much all fronts !

UI is damn fast, simple, easy to use. Some things need to be more organized like the downloads. I couldn't see the multiplayer portion of Killzone downloading but when you are in the game and want to play multiplayer, it tells you that the multiplayer portion is downloading. Why can't we see it in the downloads section is something i don't like. Also, i hope we can organize our games library soon. Right now it's ok but when i'll have 30+ games, it's gonna be a problem.

Tried party chat yesterday with 3 friends and wow, it worked perfectly, voice is clean and setup is plug and play, easy !

PS Store is way way faster now, it's actually incredible but some section still have that little lag, i guess a future firmware is gonna fix that.

Controller is probably the best i've ever used and i really liked the 360 controller last gen. The dual shock 4 is just incredible !

System is small, classy looking, silent and good looking !

Playing Call of Duty in 1080p is amazing even though the game still isn't a graphics pusher. Killzone SF is just jaw dropping ! damn those graphics... WOW !
I haven't played NFS Rivals yet because its still downloading but i heard from a friend of mine that it looks incredible.

All in all, i love my PS4 !!! Work days are fu**ing long, i just want to go home fire up my PS4 and play all day !

There should be no reason, ever to buy Apple headphones separately. I only used mine because it was "free" sitting in my iPhone box, as I don't use it for daily use.

You can switch between your current app and your last used app by double tapping the PS button.

So should I try and delete the corrupted save so I can actually even get to BF4's main menu?

I can't believe a high profile game is so unplayable that a save that gets corrupted randomly the first time you play the game would cause the game to be unable to get to the main screen and instead crashes BF4 back to the PS4 home screen.

I have a semi-stupid question, apologies if it has been asked before.

My PS4 currently has two accounts on it. Four games belong to one account, a single game belongs to another.
Is there a place where we can see all five available games for the PS4 for both accounts to play? The library as far as I can tell only lists games that belong to the individual account.

I can't redeem the 30-day PS+ voucher. It doesn't like my credit card. Is it because I put that I live in USA when I registered and I'm in currently living in Latin America?
