How do I remove the user profiles at the beginning of the PS4 login?

Just polished off killzone, first completed ps4 games. Played on easy though, quite enjoyed it. Poorly told story but some great, if maybe occasionally frustrating, levels. A lot more variety than I extra.

i am not sure if this is news worthy of a new thread or not.
but my imported ps4 from USA is 110 voltage "says on the ps4". however, by mistake i put it on 220v yesterday and i played for hours " only noticed today its in 220v
and no smock effect or heating or anything lol. so i take it the PS4 is dual voltage out of the box.
So far my solution for the real name thing has been to change my real name to First name, then first letter of last. I don't have a problem doing that. Being able to use your facebook profile pic basically allows for custom avatars, albeit you'll need to make a 2nd facebook account, but I already have a non personal one to use in games, coupons, etc.
I do hope that they would allow me to hide my name, but still show my profile pic and also have the choice to have my friends' PSN ID as the main one displayed instead of the name. Hopefully they add some sort of friend's list organization in the future.

I set up my USA bought PS4 here in China yesterday and immediately logged into my Australian PSN account. Bzzzt... No games etc available for download, which makes sense considering it hasn't been released in Australia yet.
This is a shame, because I have PS+ and was hoping to play me some Resogun ASAP.
So I set up a new American PSN account using a fake address in Beverley Hills. Logged on and entered the free 1 month PS+ code but the system prompts for credit card details. Wouldn't let me use my Australian card ..
Anyhow, I was able to use the $10 PSN credit and bought Flower. It's a nice game with brilliant music and atmosphere, but hardly a system showcase.
It took over a day to download the F2P games and I had a go at Blacklight before I left for work today. It's fun! Actually it's my first online shooter experience, and I'll definitely be playing some more.
Can a US member help me out? If I paypal you some $$ could you buy me a 1 month PS+ card so I can download Resogun and Contrast? I would be eternally grateful! The 1 month cards don't require credit card details.

Did you try buying from the Amazon psn store? You can use an overseas credit card as long as it has a US shipping address. The codes would be for the US psn store for redemption.

Does anyone know how to redownload DLC that was redeemed with exclusive codes like AC4 Aveline stuff and Gamestop exclusive content?
Example: redeemed AC4 stuff and it worked fine. Had to delete install file. Reinstalled game. Now I have to redownload content. Any idea where to access that stuff?
Edit: figured it out. As of now you have to enter the redemption code again. Keep those codes!

Just tried Resogun. The constant 60 fps kept throwing me off. Kept expecting a slow down whenever there were a crazy amount of effects and stopped focusing for a half second.

NFS is amazing. The online portion is done very well and really is seamless.

I'm getting my PS4 soon and I have a question about this. I want my name to be Macky T. I dont want my full name to show but at the same time, I want my profile picture to be there and for it to be linked to my actual facebook acount. is that possible? if so, how?

I believe so, yes. I just went to profile and it had the option to change real name for PSN/Gameplay purposes as well as Sony email contact purposes.

when you boot the ps4 after its been turned off " not stand by"
does the white Playstation logo disappear for half a second before it comes back again " everything is normal. just this half of a second that it disappears and come back in ?
my PS4 does that when its on 110V. however, if i put it on 220V. it doesn't do that at all.

if so, thats same as mine. but if you put it in 220V.. it won't do that.

So how's Netflix? I did a search before posting but there are only vague impressions. Is it snappy? How does it work with multitasking?
I generally use Netflix on my Xbox because a) my PS3 has the most inconsistent internet connection imaginable, and trying to watch Netflix is a joke and b) my PS3 is INCREDIBLY LOUD.
So I want to swap to a new usual Netflix player. Was looking into Rokus but I'm getting a PS4 next week!

Yes, you can still set your DNS servers manually. I've got mine set to use OpenDNS's servers.

Also in this thread it says the standard 500gb PS4 takes 25 seconds from standby, but 36 cold boot, which is way off from mine as well (mine being 20 seconds).

I only played a couple practice rounds but it didn't even feel like it was a smooth 30 FPS let alone 60 to me.

No, it has a small speaker. Microphones on the optional camera and of course, the earplug/headset that comes with it.

I would imagine, if you wanted it to be, you could add a small nub microphone that just doesn't have speakers? Not sure if headset audio can be output on the TV?

finally got my ps4 today and set it up, looks so far like it's going smooth. no issues. updated to 1.5, played a few hours of KZSF and Knack and just saw the 1.51 update, installed it and now i should probably go to bed.

Thats weird.. I was playing COD today and my mic kept lighting up. Keep in mind Im wearing some apple iphone headphones.. Im like wtf so I start blowing and talking and it kept lighting up. I have no idea what I was talking into for it to do that. Anyone gonna test it?

Does the iPhone headphone have a little box on it with a hole on the cable? That's a microphone. Most phone headphones have a mic built into them.
