Any idea when PS4s will be in stock? (in the US)
I haven't seen anything, but perhaps it's in the uploads section. Don't think I've checked in there.
Not sure if it still turns on at the specified time from off as the PS3 did.

I think my PS4 has issues 
every couple of hours the hdmi connection seems to go beserk. The screen flickers between whatever the PS4 is displaying to white noise and back again at varying speeds. Adjusting the cable makes it stop but a couple of hours later it happens again.
If I contact Amazon or Sony for a replacement, do we know how long that could take?

You can check your save games in settings under the save storage management. Also they're uploaded once a day, unless you do it manually, at midnight local time. Should pop up in your notifications feed under uploads.

I also contacted Sony about a possible refund for Ghosts. The first Call of Duty game I truly dislike. I've had my fair share of distasteful moments with previous games, but this one seals the deal. Too many new features added, too little actually fixed. Such a shame the true Infinity Ward is forever gone.

Try using a different cable and have a look at your HDMI port, there may be a lifted piece of metal at the bottom. It should look like this:

Im letting my PS4 in vertical (seems much better). Is it somehow harmful to the system?
Also, im noticing that in stand by the bottom of the console seems pretty warm, is it allright? It have something to do with the download its doing in stand by? (im downloading Knack and Battlefield 4)

Why is it that most PS4 streams are in bad quality? And why is it not HD? Is it because people don't have a fast enough upload speed or why is it like this?
Another question, why can I hear a little buzzing sound from my PS4 when it's on Standby? It doesn't download or anything, and I closed all applications before entering Standby.

On my system I can have, the game running and another app running, plus access to the live area. Is that it?

It seems vertical PS4s can run hotter (and make the fans work harder?) because one of the air vents ends up being blocked. As long as the area the PS4 in is well ventilated, I think it might be ok. If it really bothers you maybe go horizontal?

- plugging headphones into the controller is brilliant
- yay, a demo section on the store
- why do the icons in my launch bar seem to be randomly distributed? (i never used tv services dammit, get away from the left side)

My opinion on the PS4 so far
* the UI is absolutely brilliant. User friendly, snappy and just a joy to navigate
* Resogun is incredible. I would buy a PS4 just for this game alone
* Killzone shadow fall campaign is underwhelming but the mp is fantastic. Amazing graphics add a lot to the experience
* Warframe has a lot of potential
* The controller feels and looks like it was designed by an alien race 1000 times more advanced than us. Its a work of art in terms ergonomics and aesthetics.
* The PS4 is the best looking console in existence
* White LED light on the console and controller puts me in a happy place

HDMI-CEC seems to have stopped working for me. Not sure if the problem is with the PS4 or the TV, but I can't seem to get them to connect anymore. The regular HDMI output works fine.
EDIT: Tried everything I could think of, like doing a complete power cycle of everything, forcing a new HDMI handshake, disabling and enabling the feature both on the PS4 and the TV, but nothing worked. Then I tried moving the PS4 from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 on my TV, and BAM, it worked again. Moved it back to HDMI 1, and it kept working. Must be some issue with my TV.

That I know, it's early in the morning here but I'm sharp as a knife!
I want to know WHY he feels it's underwhelming.
My initial impressions of the KZ campaign were really underwhelming as well.
Very first mission is an on rails section.
Second mission dumps you in a vent with a knife, then proceeds to lead you to basically two different locations with little to nothing happening outside of these two hot spots.
Third mission you're carrying around power plugs.
Add to that, you're about 160cm tall and nearsighted (FOV!).
Looks absolutely spectacular but as far as gameplay engagement.. a resounding meh so far. :/
Ended up going back to the 500GB drive and it worked fine. I booted in safe mode and chose Option 7.
There must be some compatibility issues with the 1TB Samsung drive I was trying to use. Which is weird, as it works fine in my PS3 or PC.
Try making your console primary console or refresh your license in the setting.

Anyway, my KZ bundle is in transit. Not long now...
I had that issue. There's 2 solutions.
1) If you signed up for justin.tv before twitch.tv was a thing, you'll need a brand new account. You can login using a JTV account, but you can't stream
2) If you did sign up to twitch and not Justin, you need to login on the web, click your username, go to dashboard, stream key and then show my key and finally reset the key. If this gives you an error, it recognises you as a JTV login and you'll need a new account.
Yup, still need to try the multiplayer. I despise the older Killzones and my impressions haven't changed really. Might see if the multiplayer is fun enough.

Has Sony mentioned when we will be able to resume a game from standby? It was one of the big features at the reveal but cut out from launch
I absolutely loved chapter 2 and 3.
Especially chapter 3 while I don't even like many corridors and doors in a shooter, but dat atmosphere!
I don't have problems with the FOV though you are right that it looks like you're only 160cm tall!
For me, the campaign so far has been a breath of fresh air after the campaigns of Cod and BF in the past.
Eh, I didn't think KZ2 or KZ: Mercs were mediocre. I'm not sure I'd call 'em great either, but they were certainly good games. Shadow Fall isn't up to the standards of either of those two in my opinion. It does look fucking orgasmic, but I found myself wishing they'd made a PS4 port of Mercenaries instead.
One of these days I'll get around to playing KZ3.
I've changed my mind about KZ:M. I would call that one great.

I shat all over Killzone earlier in this thread, mainly due to its poor design. But it's growing on me somewhat as I play further through the game. The atmosphere is really something quite special, and I'd recommend playing this game with a good surround system or headphones (plugged in to the DS4) as the sound really draws you in to the world.
The unlocked framerate is still frustrating however, and I do wonder why everyone is taller than me. I have to check I'm not crouching all the time, very strange. The design, story, motion-capture, cut-scenes, character modelling and voice-acting still all feel very clunky and need to be massively improved. But, the scope and variety of the environments and the atmosphere almost bring it back for me. I'd like to say "I wonder what they could do with a sequel", before remembering this is the fourth game in the series.
It was at 50% at midnight when I went to bed, so it's going up about 10% an hour.
Should be done for when I'm finished with work at least!

Is anybodys CEC functionality working fully on the BD player?
Like, on PS3 i can start and stop, ff and rewind with my AVR remote. Thats ace, so I dont need the ds3 or a ps3 remote to watch blurays.
Not so with PS4. CEC functionality is there, arrow keys are working in the PDM and in the BD Player, but play/pause, ff, rewind are not.
Is it just me or ist this not implemented completly yet?
I hope this will be coming in a future update as its really comfortable and works flawless otherwise.

My hard drive is 50% full, so I'm thinking I need to take the punt on a 2TB sooner rather than later. With the reports of black screens, can you guys who have upgraded to a 2TB drive report which drive it is? I'd hate to buy one specifically for this purpose and have it not work.
Fuck yes. I enjoyed the little I played on PC, but TF2 kept dragging me back in. Won't have that problem on the PS4 at least! (Valve, F2P TF2 on PS4 on my comfy couch with my PC inventory would be crack HINT HINT)
