I want a Kickstarter app for the PS4. Putting Kickstarter right on the console itself would be awesome even if it was limited to PS4 only projects (that could later be ported).

Hmmm my PS4 used to start off loud as fuck when I turned it on from standby or it was loading a game like AC4. But now for the last couple of days I don't hear the loudness anymore. I hope nothing has failed in there. :/

I had CoD and Netflix both freeze on me today and neither of those things has happened thus far.

Man I've tried to download DC Universe for at least 10 times now but every next morning I check the status to see the download it stopped and got corrupted.

I'm hoping this doesn't happen to me. I just ordered one online today from BJ's Wholesale. BB on the 8th seems like a good time to try. Some people are saying get there really early. I'd get there as early as you can if you are really wanting one. You don't want to be the person who is one away from getting one.

. Target also gets some regularly but you'll have to call a lot and I'm hearing noon is actually better than the morning, but just call throughout the day. Same goes for Gamestop

I think I've been through all of the menus and I don't remember seeing it, so perhaps it's not a configurable option and is on by default?

What router do you have? Might be worth checking to make sure it supports it and is enabled.

Rather than making a new thread I am in a bit of a situation.

My HDTV broke and can't buy myself a new one till after christmas which really does suck, but anyway I still have an SDTV in the attic that still works and was thinking if I could hook up my ps4 to it till I get my new tv.

I was searching for a converter box like this and was wondering if any fellow gaffer has tried one of these and works?

Does the playstation store app not load for anyone else?

Sometimes when I open it the screen just stays blue with that background of the live area and doesn't load anything.

I added Blacklight Retribution to my download list through the web store yesterday, and clicked 'Download to PS4' - the site said it was in my download list. Got home, powered on the PS4 and it started downloading.

The thing is, when it downloaded, I installed the patch that downloaded, tried to start it and was told "Only users with the licence for this content can start it" or something like that.

Does anyone know how to fix this or why it happened? I know it can happen with playing US purchases on UK accounts if they aren't both primary, but this was "purchased" and downloaded using my main UK account, which is the same account I use on the PS4 and tried to play the game using. So I'm confused as to why it's not letting me start the game.

Go to settings, PSN, restore licenses.

Seems to do this while it's installing for me. The padlock goes away when it's fully done.

I cannot find any clip section I am looking for because it has never been properly captured. I use the setting for having one tap on SHARE button to take a screenshot and doubletap for a videocapture, so long pressing the SHARE button will open the upload video or photo and livestream screen.

In this case, i am evidently discussing videocapturing. So i need some clarifications:


Question 1:
Ok so i'm playing KNACK and i press SHARE (so two hits on the button) to capture a video. What happens ?

a) The clip will be the 15 minutes preceding the moment i pressed SHARE
b) The clip will be the 15 minutes after the moment i pressed SHARE
c) The clip will stop recording


Question 2:
Ok so i'm playing Killzone. I press SHARE ((so two hits on the button). 5 minutes later, i press SHARE again. What happens?

a) It records starting from the first moment I pressed SHARE and the second moment i pressed SHARE it stops the capture, making a total capture of 5 minutes
b) When i pressed SHARE the first time, the 15 previous minutes are captured, and when i pressed SHARE the second time the 15 previous minutes are captured
c) It starts a 15 minute clip from the first moment and I pressed SHARE, then when i pressed it the second time it starts a new 15 minutes clip.


Question 3:
Is there a difference between tapping 2 times the SHARE button and 1 time, only for video capture? I know tapping one is now set to screenshots, but i have read here and there that it may also stop a recording or something while in the very same time taking a screenshot and thus doing both operations at the same time

The first part of cod:g looks crap, but later on, some of it looks real good for cod. And I put it down intially but the latter half is now going alright.

I bought Putty Squad.

Not sure why except for the fact I loved it on my Amiga. Gonna use it to show off the power of the console to my friends.

EDIT: Nnnnggg. Housemate powered down the console while cleaning. Gonna have to download when I get home. THE HORROR.

I ordered a PS4 from Amazon yesterday and according to UPS it will arrive here in Tokyo tomorrow afternoon. The next generation comes early to Japan. Exciting times.

I still need to decide which game to buy.

It should:
Question 1: a AND b. It'll be recording the last 15 minutes continuously anyway. Then when you press to start a video recording, it should save that clip and start a be one at that point.

Q2: recording previous 15 mins. You hit share and it'll save that and start a new recording. After 5 mins you hit share again, it'll save that 5 minute clip and start a new one.

Q3: no difference except your convenience

I'm sure i read yesterday that Don't Starve is to be the next PS+ game and for EU Gaf should hit the store by the end of December. We should get further info from SCEE over the next week or so.

Fellow gaffers,
do you know if there is any confirmation whether the PS3 wireless stereo headset will be supported by the ps4 or not? I read that there will be a patch sometime in january but i haven't seen a direct confirmation about the future support of the first wireless stereo headset.

Where are my game's save data in the system? are they automatically uploaded to the servers and backed up there?

check settings. there should be a game saved management.should be right above the app management. can't miss it. it auto upload to server if you have it set up yes. unsure when or how
