So if I have PS Plus then my saves are in the cloud right...no need to migrate anything?

They should be, but I advise you to double check the games you really care about. A year ago PS Plus save space was limited so many games stopped auto uploading when your storage was full.

Will you be backing up and restoring your PS4 as is or are you going in fresh with only your saves? If you are backing up and restoring, your saves will be brought over so either way you're getting your saves transferred. Backing up and restoring is pretty much good for avoiding the time to re download all of your games, though all of your settings get transferred too!

That is yet to be known! I doubt it as that's more of a software thing and Sony hasn't officially said anything about supporting more than 2TB. You can do 4TB, but you're not guaranteed stability by Sony.

1. Backup your PS4 to an external drive, even the Pro's 1TB drive will do provided you aren't selling your PS4 beforehand (and you have a USB cable for a 2.5'' HDD)

2. Put your 2TB drive into your Pro and install the system firmware onto it

3. Restore from the external HDD

Considering getting a PS4 Pro, and looking at Amazon trade in deals. I swapped my 500 GB hard drive with a 1 TB, and I am using the 500 GB with my Wii U.

Do you think Amazon could reject my trade in if the hard drive isn't 500 GB but 1 TB? Basically, it wouldn't be the same model that I selected from their website that I am trading in.

Formatting it to either exFat or Fat32 is recommended. I don't even think it will work if it's formatted in NTFS.

Went to GameStop today and the guy told me they'd give me $150 credit each for my white PS4 and white OG XB1, so I went ahead and pre-ordered a Pro. Never thought i'd have a 4K TV, XB1S, and Pro so quickly but boy am I excited about it. Next Thursday can't come soon enough.
