PS4 Pro boxes getting prepped

That Walmart exchange is odd. I was checking on my Daughter's original Xbox One and it offered $94 for the 500gb model, out of curiosity I checked the 1tb model and it only offered $77.

Why would it be less for a bigger hard drive??
I'm sure it's based on sales speed versus stock. It just means they have plenty of the 1TB model to meet demand. Any additional ones are thus worth less to them at trade, even if the price to the customer when reselling would be higher.

So he got just 100$ in the end!?

Got $420 CAD for mine today, woot. Did give up a few more games than I would have preferred but all my friends have these games so I can borrow them again.

As an aside, these really low trade-in values strongly suggest high stock of traded-in Xbox Ones, for Walmart at least. Potentially a good chunk of Microsoft's recent NPD surge may have been upconverters, rather than new customers drawn to the platform.

It probably bases solely off internal Walmart sales data(without human interaction) and the 1tb probably doesn't sell as well as the 500gb.

This, you can see crazy prices in Wallmart often, games that cost 20US because they are old still cost 60 on Wallmart or viceverse.

These piss poor trades are why I have a house full of consoles. 3-360's 4-Xbox ones etc etc. keeping my launch PS4 when my PRO comes.

Can someone help me out with the Walmart Trade in? I can't find the consoles for some reason.

I'm trying to trade in a white PS4

So I'm going to sell my PS4 to my cousin so 210$ for the pro isn't so bad. I can live with a 200$ upgrade since I've paid more for my iPhone lol

Super YMMV.

Ordered a Pro from a Target with the Wishlist 10% off combined with 5% off with Red card. Meant to use a promo card I got in the mail for a $10 gift card for a $100 purchase. Forgot, chatted with customer service, and they agreed to add it. Except they refunded $22 from my order instead of giving me a gift card for unknown reasons.

$318 plus tax. Whoo!

Could've been even better but forgot to use ebates for extra 2% back.

Called my local Gamestop today and they said if they traded in my 500gb PS4 I basically got the Pro for half the price. So might do that.

wait what?? Just your base PS4?

That'd mean they're giving $200 for PS4s? That'd mean there's a deal going since the PS4 was only $150 on their site.

Mine still says it will ship on the 8th, so considering that the nearest warehouse is in Richmond, BC and I'm around an hour away, I expect it to get to me on the 9th with two-day Prime shipping.
