PS4 Pro boxes getting prepped

My Pro order has shipped from Amazon UK now too. Hype. Gotta back up PS4 today I guess to transfer over tomorrow.
 
Wohooo! My local retailer got them in stock yesterday and delivered the preorders one day early. xD Can't wait to get home tonight and.... backup and restore 700GB of data on it.

Those who get their console this week: Would you be pissed of Sony announces a proper Brack Friday Bunduru for PS4 Pro or are you just glad you got your console right in time?

I think I'd be pissed, but I don't asume there will be any crazy deals just two weeks after the launch.

I'll expect them amazon to make a bundle of their own. But right now I don't expect sony to make an official one.

Until Dawn is now a two year-old game. Two years! If SuperMassive doesn't/won't have the resources to modify a still jaw-droppingly gorgeous game, then they're certainly not obligated to.

And my befuddlement is only made the worse when I think of Until Dawn: Rush of Blood having a PS4 Pro patch. Which I can't wait to see how Rush of Blood is enhanced.

And please explain how your confusion is somehow made greater by Rush of Blood getting a Pro patch...?
 
Mine shipped yesterday and I thought I would get it today. Then I woke up this morning to a snowstorm. Now I'm not even sure I'm getting it tomorrow

Same here. But it shipped today so I'm not even sure I'll get it before the weekend... The mail-dudes doesn't work weekends here. So if not on Friday, I'll have to wait until monday...
 
Well, simply games fucked my order... said card address and authorisation bullcrap when they charged it(after ordering last Friday), even tho I ordered something from them back in August with no problem at all!

As much as I hate game, just popped in to the bluewater branch and snagged one front midnight release.
 
Both the Pro and Dishonored 2 arriving tomorrow - taking my girlfriend out tonight to make up for the next couple days of radio silence :p

Is anyone else unable to request a hold at UPS' site? Their help info states a shipper can mark something "secure" and that can keep that from being doable. But I've never ever known Amazon to do that.


Anyone else??

it will take you 4 hours just to backup, let alone restore lol

I wonder if Gamestop will let me pick up my Pro tonight? Especially since the system is already available at the Walmart right behind it. Trading in my current PS4 this evening anyway and a new 1TB SSD is going to be sitting in my mail box.
 
Can we download the PS4 Pro firmware already for when you replace the drive? Or does the 4.05 firmware qualify?
