Amazon took forever to credit me for my trade-in, so my Pro comes Monday. Not too upset about it, was just hoping to play it this weekend.

I've just deleted nearly 1tb of games I only kept Battlefield, Uncharted and a couple of PSN games. I need my transfer to go quick, I need this thing up and running as quick as possible lol. I'll back those games up tonight onto an external as I've heard it's slightly quicker than the Ethernet way. So I'll back up those couple of games, then take the hard drive out, its 2tb and I'll put that in the pro tomorrow and I'll need to do all the firmware stuff ughhh it's probably still going to take me a couple of hours to get it set up. I'm excited, I love new hardware.

Cheers man. Yeah it sucks but I'm installing Gears 4 back on the Xbone (it was on the USB I've used to backup for the Pro) and I've booked Friday off now as well so it's not all bad.
I'm actully considering hitting up a supermarket in the morning and if they have one in-stock Amazon can have theirs back but I doubt I'll be that lucky.
On another note the fuckers haven't dispatched Dishonored 2 either. Bloody hell I hate Amazon UK right now.

Hrmmm... I would call back and bitch about that as well. Get all the credit you can, then, after the holidays cancel your Prime. Only activate it when they run free trials and cancel again after. Just a thought.
My Prime doesn't end till mid december......so I'll abuse it till then.

And it's 10pm now.

Yep, and every time they screw up, hit them up for credit to use on digital stuff with instant delivery.
I debate cancelling, but I've been with them for years Without many issues and they always give credit and are crazy lenient on returns. They even took back n opened No Man's Sky and gave me a refund in full.

A few times I had some orders dispatched very late, after 10pm or even 11pm and got them the next day, so it's still possible...hopefully

Just curious, and off-topic, I see you're a NY Giants Football(U.S.) fan. Is that common in the U.K.? Being an American Football fan?
It's likely amazon logistics delivering so they could easily do it late at night. I've had dispatch emails from them at 23:30 before now and its been there next day.
Won't hurt to give them a poke, but I imagine they've got a fair few to get through!
Not common, but they exist. One guy I work with had a Redskins season ticket one year. Flew in for every game. Another guy I work with is mad for the Giants.

I didn't factory reset my old PS4 but I deactivated it and took out the 2TB and put the old 500GB it originally came with in. That reset the PS4 I guess.

A guy I didn't like supported the Redskins and the Giants beat them in the first game I watched so I started following them after. I think it was around 1986 and it wasn't really that common but it did have a small audience thanks to Channel 4 showing weekly highlights.
It's a lot bigger here now with the London games and although I've dropped off a bit it's still one of my favourite sports and the Giants will always be the very first sports franchise I ever supported.

Just got home about an hour and a half ago, picked up my pro (Australia). Titanfall 2 looks stunning on it in 1080p.
I'm looking forward to trying out Dishonored 2 either tomorrow or early next week when it arrives. I have Infamous to test out as well. Only negative thus far is the disc drive is loud as fuck (Installing shit off of the disc).

Yes, this is just how they do things, and it's confusing. It states that you would receive the email when your item is ready for pickup and until you get that email you can't. It's really confusing, and I've tried to get around it by showing the Website page to the person at the counter in Best Buy, however, they wouldn't give up the item.
Thats just the thing: I did receive an email say its ready for pickup. But it is not, it won't be released until tomorrow. That system needs to get fixed.

OK, that IS odd. Usually, it's just the site saying it's ready and you don't get the Email, but.. hell.. I guess this proves that wrong at least once.
I hope so! But still nothing yet...this "Shipping today" is going to be outdated in 10 minutes or so...

UPDATE (sorry it's very late): Yep, GameStop's doing a launch event for the Pro tonight. Seems many stores that at least pulled off good Dishonored 2 pre-order numbers can open up tonight, seems that's the exception my local store is getting to operate off of.
