Uh... This was confirmed at the PS4 Pro event in the first place. They specifically said MWR, BO3, and IW will support the Pro.

I met a forty six year old man today. I asked him if he'd heard about the Playstation 4 Pro. He told me he knew what a Playstation was in a confrontational tone, almost as if I'd insulted him. Then I asked him, "But do you know what a Playstation 4 Pro is?"

The man's friend then chimed in again, sounding really disappointed. "A better PS4? But I just bought a PS4 two months ago."

I told them they can still play all their games on the PS4 Pro so they don't need to worry. The man laughed and said he doesn't have a PS4 anyway; why would he need to worry about playing the same games? I asked his friend if she had an Xbox One. His friend said she hadn't bought one because she was waiting on the Xbox Scorpio. The man smiled when he heard that. She continued by saying she decided against buying the Xbox One since it had been announced another, more powerful version was releasing.

The man then asked me, "Why didn't you let customers know about the PS4 Pro earlier so they wouldn't buy a weaker product?"

I told him I still had much to learn, and that someone like him could better teach me the way of this life. He smiled, gave me a pat on the back, and told me not to worry. Everyone makes mistakes. I asked him what his name was. He told me it was Phil.

Yes & his mistake was not being prepared for Sony to boost their PS4 up to 4.2TF when they had only boosted their Xbox One up to 1.4TF this year for the holidays so they rushed to put together a presentation for a even more powerful Xbox One to slowdown the PS4 train that was already leaving them behind.

The difference being, when I purchase a new GPU for my PC, I don't need to wait or hope on a patch for games to take advantage of said GPU. Games receive the performance boost and/or IQ benefits immediately.

I think it's fair for people to want to know what the Pro is going to do for them.

Sony has said in no uncertain terms that old games will not take advantage unless patched. So I dont see how anyone can even get confused over that.

What seems to be the issue here is that people are "confused" because Sony hasn't communicated well enough how a 2x more powerful pro can make new games look and perform better.

nvidia's marketing for the 10 series has pretty much been it's x times faster than the 9 series.

No screenshots, videos, no detailed explanations on what is going to be improved from the previous gen. How am I supposed to figure out if the 10 series is better than the 9 series if nvidia doesn't communicate these things to me?!?!
