Since developer support for the Pro has been spotty, you need to look at the games you'd want to play on it and see if there's any Pro enhancements or not, and if there are, are they enough to justify the price difference. No Man's Sky is the primary game I've been playing for the past few months and it looks and performs much better on the Pro, so I'm currently quite happy with it.
My main reason for going with the Pro though was the volatility of the electronics market, and it's only gotten worse since I decided to get the Pro. I figure this console generation is going to be one of the longest, if not the longest, we've seen, plus I think the next gen will be almost entirely cross-gen titles, so it doesn't hurt having the most powerful current gen console. Hopefully that FSR4-based upscaler comes sooner than later, or Cerny and his group figure out how to get PSSR to play nicer with UE5.
