Deathloop is a unique spin to a shooter, but I don't think the average action or shooter fan cares about gimmicky gameplay.

They just want a game where you kick ass with various MP modes.

When was the last time you saw a shooter fan say story or unique gameplay was the killer things missing in a game? It's more like bad modes, bad balanced weapons, glitchy netcode or shitty gun mechanics.
