I clicked on that and it said I already owned this pile of rubbish. Then I went to your AWR link you have here, made sure I was signed in, and it still says $29.99.

They might have pulled it now, Wario blasting this on social media means everyone has eyes on it instantly.

Checked 5 mins ago and so far the game was still working for me, let's see if they revoke licenses from people for this or not.

I did everything from my browser (Firefox) and it worked for me just like adam said.
Click AW2, Get Free Trial. Close Web page, Click AW Remastered. Shows as Get (free). Clicked. Now shows, you own this with an install option

I used the Edge browser on my Xbox.
Went to those links in the first post. Claimed AW2 trial. Then the link for AWR. At that point, it still said Install Free. If it no longer does, then the deal is no longer valid.

Checked on my Xbox and although it doesn't show on "my games and apps", if you search it on the MS store, it says you own this with the option to install
I don't have the space to install it atm

I've played it on my X360 back in the day in addition to the dlc. It's one of my favorite games for that system
I'm already sold on playing this remaster again even though it barely is a remaster.

Alan Wake is such an awful fucking game it’s amazing that people still talk about it. I tried it a few weeks ago and the combat was just some of the worst shit I’ve ever seen.

I don't know if I'd call it awful, but I think it was so overrated. Running from light to light with bland combat was not what I was hoping for when I first played it.

Do it, and then play 2 for even more vibes and atmosphere. Gameplay is not top priority here. It's all about the vibes.

Forgot it was exclusive to Epic on PC but was too late for the deal anyways. Have AW1 + DLC on Steam and remember enjoying it a lot for the atmosphere and story. Remastered should be a good grab for the console bros who managed to snag the deal.

Good game, nailed the atmosphere and felt like watching a mystery thriller series. Falls apart when you need to shoot enemies though.
