PSN, Battlenet, Riot, and others DDOSed; PSN returning lightly toasted with butter

Still online on Xbox One, but speeds are going down slowly, but steadily.

My usual speed of 100-160Mbps:

Now it's down to 60Mbps:

While I was uploading image speeds went down to 39Mbps and 7% packet loss.

The perks of being 7 years behind the competition.

Having 3 near identical consoles would be fucking redundant. I'm glad we have someone like Nintendo who are considered to be behind the times, yet they still make incredible first party games.

50 % = fail ?

My school considered going above 50 % meant you pass.
Sure if you only scored 55 we would call that here "made it over the ditch but with wet feet" But you did pass.

Yeah that's my point. The guy I was replying to said something like "if people think 5/10 is fail the wtf is 1/10."

We see 5/10 as a fail or in your case a near fail, when in fact a near fail should be 2-3/10 (cause 1/10 is ACTUALLY a fail and 5/10 is plain average).

Sorry for the confusion. (then again this whole thread seems to be rife with just that).

Well shit. This guy is really angry, no prisoners style.

If MS is under attack as well, could this mean the end of the Great Console War? Imagine if both companies decide to join forces and armies under the same banner to fight injustice and ddosers all around the world, then true peace may be achieved. Let's put our differences aside, and be disconnected, together.
We must unite against the true enemy
Nintendo

But the guy who made it said it is x like the letter.
These things are open to interpretation, but IMO they should be said as they were intended, which means people who say cross are wrong (and I've never actually heard someone say it in person).

i had the perfect jif to show why it's cross on the sony paddle but it's on me mum's pc computer

Nah. 1/10 is broken. 6/10 is below average (a failure), so you need to be held back a grade and try again.

"let's call the FBI"

some of those kids are indeed full of shit.

No, it's "jif". this is the canonical way of saying it, because that's what the creator of the gif says is the right way of saying it.
please, stop copy-pasting lies. it's not JIF, deal with it.

What evidence? All I see is someone still talking out of their ass making empty threats with no evidence.

My last post was buried under things irrelevant to this thread topic. My prior post talked about "FamedGod" talking about making the ps4 moddable. The photo evidence was a screenshot of the tweet is all. Sorry for the miscommunication.

Not that I believe this, but it really is a bit odd. MS has the obligation of being better prepared for this than Sony, but they shouldn't be invincible. Sony is constantly getting hammered and I never noticed a huge scandal on MS' part. Are their defenses really that much better?

The past gen I could understand, the 360 was super popular and Sony was the bad guy (599, removing linux, etc). This gen MS is the one worthy of hate (even though they are trying their best to clean up their image, I'll give them that). So why are "hackers" still so obcessed with Sony and not with MS? The latter are good, but not invincible: how come we never see them getting hacked? It's odd.

Again, I'm not saying this is a conspiracy on MS part. Just find it very odd that they always seem to waltz through this kinda shit like it's nobody's business.

Possibly. It would be foolish to assume that they're totally immune, but they definitely have more experience in dealing with these sort of attacks compared to Sony. MS have been involved with online services for ages, and as such are a huge target for hackers/script kiddies. It makes sense that they can more easily deal with this sort of thing.

Also, bonus GIF:

The Seattle area (most likely MS HQ) being targeted by hackers. And that's just in one morning.
