Willing to bet Bungie won't do nothing like that.
Xur will leave at the usual time.
Still can't connect here (UK PS4).
What if we replaced Sony with Comcast(or any ISP). Would people still be saying 'give them some slack guys, theyre doing their best.'
Sony is being too slow...everyone wants to know what the fuck is happening.
Perhaps they don't want to report until they have all their ducks in a row?Actually, it is the lack of information that justifies ridicule.

Absolutely he will. Fortunately, he's useless this week. Just like his cousin: PSFUCKINGN
Perhaps they don't want to report until they have all their ducks in a row?
What is worse, providing information that may or may not be correct and take a second lashing for that or just wait until the dust settles? Perhaps they are addressing the issue with more security in the wake of the attack and don't want to announce it until its up and running?
Too many variables to consider. We KNOW it was a DDOS. We do not know their response because maybe they want to get things in order. Who knows?
Being mad at Sony over what someone else did isn't the answer.
Not to me, he's isnt. I want to upgrade saint 14 and gjallarhorn.
We'll see.
The video game industry has been experiencing high levels of traffic designed to disrupt connectivity and online gameplay. Multiple networks, including PSN, have been affected over the last 48 hours. PSN engineers are working hard to restore full network access and online gameplay as quickly as possible.
From time to time there may be disruptions in service due to surges in traffic, but our engineers will be working to restore service as quickly as possible.
If you received a PlayStation console over the holidays and have been unable to log onto the network, know that this problem is temporary and is not caused by your game console. We’ll continue to keep you posted on Twitter at @AskPlayStation and we’ll update this post once the problems subside.
Thanks again for your patience.

Not good enough. Nothing less than losing all their customers, and massive layoffs, will suffice. Also, a free game.
Yeah I was able to play on christmas day and progressed a little bit and just got to Skyhold. I tried playing yesterday and it just stays stuck on the connecting servers menu screen. I'm gonna be pissed off too if none of the trophies saved, I really think Sony dropped the ball on this tooI've been playing it the past 2 days but can never connect to the servers. It starts for me with what is essentially a lengthy load time as it fails to connect. I would be really pissed if my trophies didn't save. Haven't been online since Christmas Morning (around 9:00 AM). Like others have said, this is unacceptable for a paid service.
the why I read this = NO PSN TODAY
I see. It seems to be getting up gradually. Hopefully it will be up for everyone as soon as possible.Yes. It didn't work.
High traffic is the real problem. They just doesnt use the specific term (DDOS).They can't even state the real problem, just blaming it on high traffic? Nice one.

That statement should have been much more apologetic in my opinion. What a terrible first impression for all the new console owners who got one for Christmas
Agreed. Specially when the competition was up an running within the same day.

It does sound ridiculous doesn't it?Shit post or joke post? Can't figure this one out...
Uh oh, judging by posts and threads, xbox users better sell their system for a wiiu.
It says 'There has been an error with your request.'

Exactly...

Kaz is having a field day with this one today.

That's an extremely vague statement. The video game industry.. heh. Is XBL still experiencing issues? I like how it isn't the lead story as well.
Yes, actually. You expected them to mention XBL and Lizard Squad by name?
I expected them to not divert and to just focus on their own problems. Sure, other networks have been affected, but right now it is just PSN that is down.
If iTunes would have been down for 4 days, Apple's CEO would have written an open letter to apologize for the continued outage.
I do not see any of that rhetoric in the post. This is no longer a DDOS issue, it is a Sony issue.
