I'm loving the content spree that Sony is riding on for PSN. I hope they can keep it up.

Will be trying out Stranglehold. I hope its not just a fun for 1 hour before I get bored kind of shooter.

So take me away, I don't mind
But you better promise me, I'll be back in time
Gotta get back in time...

Yeah. I've done that two weeks in a row now. :/ It's getting fixed.

sony's steppin it up a bit. Last week 2 or 3 demos, this week 2 more. Not bad, hopefully they can keep it up.

stranglehold imo is fun, but not a game you buy at full price

I feel the same way about Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, except that somehow I don't think they spent 30 million dollars on DW: Gundam. :)

EDIT: Also, I'm guessing Europe didn't get HS - part 4 last week because the release date in Europe is a week later, IIRC. Part 5 really segues right into the intro of the game. I can't wait for HS!!!

"XI[sai] - demo
-Mainichi Issho -"

Are these any good? Worth a download for a westerner? I find it hard to find games on the Japanese store - directions? :) Merci

If thats all there is for the UK, then thats fucking bullshit.

I was hoping for some demos, I hope they do what happened with Dirt and do them later.

The Sai demo is really crippled, it's far too short, I was hoping for the full game. Haven't tried the other.

Full UK list not revealed yet, Tanod updates as the day goes on.

Xi[sai] is Devil Dice, so yes, definitely worth a download. The free demo should be the first item in the PSone classics section iirc. :)

Mainichi Issho is useless if you don't understand japanese. Also, it isn't a game. More like an interactive screensaver with news or so. ;)

It'll be a joke if the UK PSN Store doesn't get the FIFA 08 Demo today.

That's the demo I really want to try :D

Yup can any kind soul post any confirmation or info that points to the fifa demo release?
Im a PES man but ill go crazy if my PS3 doesnt play any kind of Football (excluding American, my ps3 is allergic)!

Hopefully ill like the Stranglehold demo, if I do im gonna grab the special edition with Hard Boiled. I watched my brother play it, but he was playing it like he was a 3 year old.

Oh it's that stoopid cat thing innit lol thanks though!

ArgggH I just turn off my PS3!!!!! Must get stranglehold demo!!!

So what did the stranglehold team put in the PS3 and PC demo which the 360 doesn't have?

If the Fifa 08 demo is anything like the PC demo be prepared for a huge disappointment.

Well... maybe not cause you probably won't have any high expectations to begin with

Fifa demo? Cool.

Already played Stranglehold demo on 360, but i wanna see how the PS3 version is looking, i plan to pick up the special edition to get Hard Boiled on Blu Ray.

I think PC is just a port of the PS2 game, as with other EA sports PC "efforts" this year. Impressions of new-gen versions have been pretty good. Would love to hear impressions from a trustworthy PES player.

No updates yet :S. (it's 5:39 p.m. here) Waiting for FIFA demo and European Store News. Am I going to be disappointed with SCEE again? XD, ... let's see.

TuSeiSkeefoso said:
FIFA for the PC is based off of the PS2, "last gen" versions of the game, hence, they don't hold a candle to the next gen versions.

Hum, you sure? Cause the PC has those motion blur/DOF effects that the PS2 doesn't.

Not that it matters cause i was disappointed only cause it was just like 2007, the only difference i noticed was a change in the controls.

Man I really hate that they're sitting on the R&C demo and only have it as a free demo for when you preorder HS or something. Gah, where mah R&C. Hook me up with a demo Ted Price, I know you're watching. PM me preez

Not complaining about the update, I never do. Just that I want me some R&C.

Playing Lair at lunch on my PSP from work in anticipation of the new content being added where I will then start the downloads, ensuring they'll be completed by the time I get home after my no doubt god awful commute.

Damn this feature is awesome.

It isn't useless! The Brain Training game is pretty western-friendly (just need to learn the yen coins) except for the last portion of the daily test (but you can avoid that by always doing the practice mode). And Brain Battle doesn't have that portion anyway.

I should have brought my PSP to school with me today and played Lair, I have a 3 hour break between classes. :(

Oh, man.
I'm trying not to want to buy a PSP and you're not helping. :/

The last portion isn't that bad either. You don't need to be able to read, you just need to be able to recognize characters and symbols. I don't speak any Japanese and it wasn't that bad.

edit: Oh, and mainichi issho is great for parties and for people who don't play video games. so, um, get it.

The past 2 days that I tried logging on the PSN store, it gave me an error with the code: 80710003

Is the store down or does god hate me?

Edit: Nevermind, did a quick google search and stumbled across THIS. Apparantly its an issue with the 1.92 update, gotta clear cookies/cache in order to connect..odd.

I'm pretty sure about this but I haven't checked myself but the Motorstorm stuff is already up in Japan and Europe. You can't use it for a U.S. copy of MotorStorm though.

I guess they'll wait for a "no 3rd party demo week"...

Is it wrong for me to be extremely excited for the FIFA demo?

Haven't played a FIFA game in years, but 2 years ago I bought a Winning Eleven game and me and my buddy played it every night one semester.
