PSN EU Easter Sale

Gen X

Trust no one. Eat steaks.
Will probably just get Sherlock Holmes, heard good things.

Crimes and Punishment is currently free on PS3 for ths months IGC. Just finished it this morning, it's a good game and trying to pin point the murder on the right person can be a challenge.

Pro Tip. Don't look at the trophies.

I really want to play Tales from the Borderlands, but it's against my principle to not buy a Telltale game before all the episodes come out, and I'm thinking it'll drop lower than £10.79 once the season is finished with.

Hmmm, what to do.

Hold off dude. I'm gonna take a wild guess and assume you're not hungry for things to play, and knowing Telltale it won't be finished for 9 months yet, by which point you'll have lost all motivation to play it. Plus, it being Telltale, it will definitely get cheaper.

Would get Ground Zeroes digitally, but I am not into Hideo Kojima getting patched out :(

Still looking for an affordable retail copy.

Goddamn, Tomb Raider is under a tenner when they already had it as 'Deal of the Week' for about £14 as I recall, literally about three weeks ago. I didn't buy it then (luckily; I might now), but it does piss me off when they do this. Similarly, I bought Valiant Hearts back in January on sale, and it showed up in March's IGC. That was only £4 I think so I didn't mind too much, but it does annoy me.

Also, I'm tempted to get Freedom Wars. What's it like? I'm assuming you take missions from a hub-base and go out into the world to find your quarry; are the environments you're dropped into large and open world-ish, or small constricting arenas like in Soul Sacrifice? Is there anything to do outside of combat (i.e. can you explore the world at will?), and is there a jump button? Thanks anyone and sorry for the questions!

So Far Cry 4 Gold Edition is the same price on PS4 as on PS3 yet the standard version is 20gpb on PS3 and 30 on PS4. Pfft.

Also, thanks Activision for the generous discount on CoD Advanced Warfare dropping from 64gpb to 58gpb for the "Day Zero" edition.

Also, PlayStation Vita Pets is £9.50 (+10% Plus Discount). It's still a little bit too expensive, but when it hits around £6 I'll get it for my five year old daughter.

The Telltale Game of Thrones Season Pass is €13.49 for Plus members... slightly tempting, now that 3 episodes are already out

Sleeping Dogs also interests me. I hope the PS3 version doesn't run or look too terrible?

do digital and physical games share the same saves? Tempted to eventually move my son's FIFA to digital so he stops taking out my discs all the time

I like how the PS EU Blog staff couldn't even be bothered to list all the games on sale. "Go find 'em yourself!"

But at least they put the actual prices in this week, that's a start.

Thanks EA for putting Peggle 2 and Peggle 2 Complete with all DLCs on sale while not discounting the DLC itself. Smooth.

Mass Effect Trilogy for 15€ is very tempting. The only problem is lack of disk space on my PS3. Also, since I've waited so long, I might as well wait a bit longer for the inevitable remastered version for PS4

Ok can someone help me out here?

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

What is the difference?
dolvsm.jpg

(Both is says in Dutch, Full Game)

I assume that the 5 Euro version is also the full game?

Oh DAAAAAMN. I already got JSR on Steam but for £1.99? Yeah I'm buying again.

What are the Sony Smash Bros and DBZ games like on Vita btw?

Currently in the basket:

Super Monkey Ball Vita
Dead Nation
Sound Shapes
Dungeon Hunter Alliance

Will probably end up not getting any of them.

I'll be picking up Rayman Legends, been wanting it for ages.

Demon's Souls and Ni No Kuni are £3.99. Best use of that amount of pennies ever. If you don't have those games you should rectify that immediately.
