So I got an error when I tried to download inFAMOUS, and the he OP says:

Choose “PlayStation Network Promotions” from the list of services displayed

Select either “PS3 Free Games” or “PSP Free Games” and then choose “Select Content”

You will be taken to the store to choose your remaining free games.

But when I select "Welcome Back: Free PS3 Game 1" I just get taken to a screen that says this:

Title Welcome Back: Free PS3 Game 1
Starts 06/03/2011
Expires 06/03/2011
Remaining 0

And the only option is to press O to go back.

The way I understand it, it's 30 days from whenever you activate it. So activate it on July 2nd and it'll run to August 1st or something.

It's the only way it makes sense for it to work.

You can rent time in data centers. I know people like to be apologists for console manufacturers, but this is another shining beacon of Sony incompetence. I have gone from pissed, to annoyed, to the stage of laughter with this company. I just wanted to get online tonight to redeem my LA Noire codes that I've been sitting on for a couple weeks now.

So, after getting hacked and spending weeks with the PSN store down, they DDoS themselves into oblivion by not adequately preparing for a promotion. Bravo, Sony. Really, well done.
