No. You just can't play anything without the demo.

jett said:wow so many online games in wipeout hd! normally it's completely dead. :lol Any WOHD fan that wants to play online now's the perfect time. They are all newbs playing on venom but it's better than nothing. I hope they all remain, offering the game for free could turn out to be a great thing for the wipeout community.
jett said::lol Why are these newbs picking phantom speed? Everyone killed themselves but me in teh last race.

Yeah. I don't know the folder structure the PS3 uses for programs, but my guess is it they're all independent files that get chucked in a folder with the game's product code.TheSeks said:No, but there are other PSN titles that are similar. Are you new to PSN games or something? PSN weirdly has developers make "demos" and never lists them (or lists them for a while, finds out there's a free trophy glitch "Smile Please" that causes the trophy list to be installed and prevent the demo users from gaining the others, thereby forcing them to buy the game if they are anal) to where the download list has the demo and key. It isn't like X-box Live where you get the full game and unlock in one download.zip
TheSeks said:I just want to say: I love Mod Nation PSP. Minus the funky kart handling it's good portable fun, and the online mode is really well done. Too bad someone voted me 1 star of 5. Dick. I haven't even put anything up there to earn that!
Shame the PS3 version is apparently poor with load times as the load times (at least coming off the memory stick) are pretty fast here.
I just hope Sony doesn't block my PSP/CFW from playing online. Otherwise you lose a big part of the game.
RedSwirl said:I chose Wipeout HD Fury (already owned the base game) for my first free PS3 game but can't decide on the second. I already own LBP and I already beat the main game of Infamous but didn't do any of the side content. I was never really interested in Dead Nation or Super Stardust HD.
The only PSP choice that even looks remotely interesting for me is Killzone Liberation. Is that game even worth shimmying into my backlog?
EDIT: Do selections for other regions count against the same total? Because I also just got my UK password back and will probably try to get Quest For Booty. Never played Ratchet & Clank before.

Massa said:Killzone Liberation is the best shooter on the PSP. It's a really good game.
You get 2 free games per account, so you can have 4 total out of the 6 they're offering between US and UK. Just keep in mind save files are region locked, so for example if you want to resume your inFamous playthrough you should grab it from the US store not UK.
shintoki said:Dead Nation or LBP. I only have one account sadly enough, and have to choose.
I've been leaning more towards DN since my old impression of LBP wasn't swell, but I've been hearing a lot of bad on DN too. I already own the base game for Wipeout and not interested in SSD HD
RedSwirl said:What about game installs? I've been able to download Japanese demos, install them on my US account, and play them on that account. I've also been able to download Japanese PSP demos, install them on my US account, and then attach them to my US PSP and play them on the same account.
TheSeks said:You'll probably have to "switch accounts" but the PSP is region free, so games from another region, besides PSN DRM anyway, have no issues on PSN logins from other areas.
Note: I don't think you need to switch accounts, but if it spits out "game can't be used/started because of ownership" or whatever, then you will need to switch. Try it.
I really wish I knew that last night..I downloaded Burnout thinking I can use my savesMassa said:Killzone Liberation is the best shooter on the PSP. It's a really good game.

What would a monitor count under? Heh.Replicant said:Don't bother with DN unless you have HDTV. Text too small, zombies barely recognizable. Good thing I have more than one account otherwise I wouldn't have downloaded this. For all its flaws at least LBP is playable on SDTV. But then again I don't like LBP's floaty jumps, it always frustrates me. That's why I ended up with Wipeout/inFamous for my main and Dead Nation/Ratchet on my alt. On a hindsight, I should have done Wipeout/SSD HD and Ratchet/inFamous but oh well...I also got Burnout Paradise free for 30 days but that's also barely playable on SDTV.
Replicant said:How do you switch accounts on PSP? Do you have to delete the account that's currently in it? That's so annoying. Can't we have multiple accounts on PSP?

2nd, how much of the online is playable with just the base Wipeout
3rd, SSD HD. I have many twin stick shooters already and same with shmups. Does this one do anything different? It sounds familiar and I think I may have played it already, but I can't recall.
Typo said:Question: I've grabbed two ps3 and two psp games from the Welcome Back package. The ps3 games installed fine, but I can't transfer my psp games over without getting a 80710d36 error. I'm running TN-d enabler on a Go. Is there any solution to this? I haven't tried Media Go yet.
risk said:so is it possible to download then cancel the games from the welcome back program to just keep them in my history for future downloading? I want to get a bigger HDD(40GB PS3) since it seems I don't have enough room for everything, but by that time the promotion might be over
DiscoJer said:So how do you get PS+ Plus if you are a PSP owner? I don't see it on my PSP or in Media Go...
DiscoJer said:Hmmm, after reading the comments on the Sony blog, apparently PSP only owners don't get PS+ Plus.
Great, just great.

Nope, one account at a time. Annoys me too (since the PAL store is rubbish).Replicant said:How do you switch accounts on PSP? Do you have to delete the account that's currently in it? That's so annoying. Can't we have multiple accounts on PSP?
KAL2006 said:can you get free PSP games on the PS3 even if you haven't got a PSN account on PSP. The reason I ask is because I am planning to get NGP and it would be nice to have some free games for it.
Super Stardust HD by far. I still fire it up every now and then, and I bought it when it first was released. I completed Ratchet and Clank in two sittings and I am never going back to it.Patrick Bateman said:Ratchet and Clank or SSD? What do you recommend?
Patrick Bateman said:Ratchet and Clank or SSD? What do you recommend?
Well, as I already own SSD (Thanks for a nice promo the UK store had once), and owned Wipeout HD I got Dead Nation and Ratchet as part of the Welcome Home pack, but given the choice I would say get SSD.Patrick Bateman said:Ratchet and Clank or SSD? What do you recommend?
Anything in your download list is yours and can be downloaded and re-downloaded again and again to its associated account name on a PS3.risk said:so is it possible to download then cancel the games from the welcome back program to just keep them in my history for future downloading? Arex said:It may have been asked before, but are the free games from jpn store in japanese only or also available in english?
TheSeks said:I'd use MediaGo personally because once unlocked you can transfer them freely to the PSP again later (IIRC). Though MediaGo may download it slowly for hours since the servers are being hammered. YMMV. :/
