I already have Wipeout HD. I have it bought and installed with my EU account. Can I use the US version of Wipeout Fury add-on with EU Wipeout?

I downloaded LBP and Infamous with my EU account - Dead Nation and Wipeout with my US account.

Now that I think about it, I should've gotten Fury with my EU account..

UK games will not work with US games. If you had downloaded Fury from the US store, you may as well download the normal US wipeout and the unlock key. You're not being charged extra anyway and everything should be in your download list in the US store.

Heh got Streets of Rage 2 last night for free using Playstation Plus and I now have 100% trophies on it a few hours later, nice.

Is one of them still the 600,000 score one? I could never get that one in the XBLA version. Having to abuse Max's grab and play on Maniac. Blech.

Theres two things.

First, there's 2 PS3 games and 2 PSP games you'll get as a "We're sorry our online service sucks". These games will be yours forever. You have 30 days to choose them.

However, PSN Plus (the paid service) gives you pretty much one game free every month, for you to use for as long as you have the PSN Plus subscription.

Since everybody got a PSN Plus Subscription free for 1 month, everybody has access to them now. However, these PSN Plus games won't be available for you after that one month expires. They will be available again when/if you sign up for PSN Plus.

The 2 games per platform (2 PS3 and 2 PSP) will be yours forever, as long as you attach them to your PSN account (by downloading them) in 30 days.

The OP has instructions that will help you. You have to go to your Account Settings, Subscriptions or something and download it from there. Read the OP for detailed instructions.

The catch is that it doesn't work on the PSP (at least I couldn't get it to work on mine). I had to ask a friend to start the download on his PS3 (with my account), so it would show up on my PSP Downloads list, so I could get it.

It's something related to going to the welcome screen once and not selecting any games, which is happened with me, as the store timed out.

Yes, just queue them up with your PS3 and then use the Media Go software to download your PSP games by going to the Downloads List screen.

I think you just have to buy it. As long as it shows up in your download history you should be good.

You can get to PSN from Japan now, right?

I haven't been online since the current firmware was 3.55. I tried going online today, and the PS3 told me to update the system (as expected). So I go to System Update to get 3.60, and it says that no update is required!

Is the PS3 not 'seeing' the need for 3.60 because it's not getting to the PSN correctly?

Anyone else in Japan having this problem? I'd really like to grab those free games.

Dead Nation is fantastic. I'm enjoying it far more than I did Super Stardust HD because I found that avoiding all the shit on screen that would kill you in one hit too difficult. But Dead Nation gives you a lot more time to think and a lot more room to breathe.

I was able to get in the EU PSN Store on friday and activate the 30-day free Plus membership, but then the Store stopped responding/loading and gave me the error code 80710D36. Now I haven't been able to download the two free games, let alone what the Plus membership offers. I've got 28 days left, and I suspect there'll be even less days left when I can actually do something with the membership. =(


EDIT: Nevermind. Seems like it's working now. No more error codes when signing in. Just started to download those two free games (inFAMOUS and Ratchet & Clank as I already had all the others), and three Plus-trial games. =)

Hm, managed to download one PSP game but since then games stop showing up on the "Welcome Back" page on the PSP PSN Store. Not a loading issue, no errors, just no games to show.

Not true at all. I created a UK account after the store came back up but before the WB package went live and free 30 days of PS+ is available to me. The only things I can't get on my new UK account are the free games.

I can get to the PSN from Japan. Mine actually updated before the store went up. You may need to download the update on the PC and then transfer it over via USB stick to get it to work. Good luck!

Hmm... I tried accessing the Japanese PSN store with my Japanese PSN account in Japan and I get a message saying I can't access it from my region. That's a weird error seeing as how I am physically in Japan. I assume the Japanese store still isn't up and this message was given to me in error?

I already got my US welcome back stuff so I am already satisfied. I just want to know whats up with Japan PSN as of now.

A: If you navigate away from the Welcome Back section of the store without choosing your free games or exit the store completely you may need to follow the below in order to choose and download your free games.

On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB

Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List

Choose “PlayStation Network Promotions” from the list of services displayed

Select either “PS3 Free Games” or “PSP Free Games” and then choose “Select Content”
