PSP Killer Apps - JP

I'm about to embark on a journey back to Japan for a year, and was wondering if there are any notable Japanese PSP games worth owning. All I've got are Lumines, RR, and Wipeout. I normally don't see much discussion of any PSP games other than domestic titles, but there've got to be some Japan-only games worth noting.

Any quirky games like Kuru Kuru Kururin was to the gameboy?

My Japanese isn't quite fluent, so RPG's are probably out of the question, but anything with light to moderate Japanese text would be suitable. And gameplay would be great too. I haven't followed the PSP's success in Japan much, so I'm unsure how it's library compares to the US's offering.

There's nothing really worth owning for the PSP that Japan has and America doesn't. In fact, PSP in Japan has been in a big slump ever since Tales of Eternia. Not that many good games have been released and software sales have been fairly poor.

I'd suggest Tales of Eternia, but that requires fluent Japanese. Maybe go with Tenchi no Mon?

No real "killer apps" to speak of, but if you want some good puzzle games, check out Panic Bomber and Intelligent License.

Tenchi No Mon just came out, and Tenchu Shinobi Taizen and Sengoku Cannon both come out this week. I'm all over Tenchu; looks to be the first "killer app" game since Ridge Racers came out IMO. I'm not sure how Sengoku Cannon is going to turn out; I'd wait for impressions/reviews first. It's one of those games I'll pick up when I'm in Japan next month rather than import.

There aren't any, but at least the selection is better than here in America! I just got back and there's jack shit in terms of PSP and DS games here. Barf !
