Has the PSP gone down on any sites yet? I'm not ready to pay almost 400$ for the PSP, but each time I read through one of the PSP threads talking about manga, movies, or any of the games I get more and more tempted to plunk down the cash for one. Any sites charging 350 or less for a value pack yet?
NCSX is $429
play-asia is $499
lik-sang is $439

Am I forgetting any sites? Sony needs to get those increased hardware shipments out there so the sites can stop gouging so much

Don't worry Sony doesn't have to handle the entire load themself. 3rd parties are stepping up and offering some great launch titles.

I agree, there's a bit too much hype around either of the new handhelds at the moment, I think. The lineups at the moment don't really look like they warrant it. I'm sitting tight and waiting.

Well, looking at the PSP manual that was posted here, the DC input on the PSP is 5V.

A powered USB port is 5V as well and is suppossed to supply up to 500mA. So, I'd assume that the PlayAsia USB "charger" is just a straight cable adapter -> USB power lines to a plug.

In other words, the straight cable PlayAsia has will be as good as any other.

You setup an e-mail l/p and their "private bbs" works directly to you. You ask a question on their website ( https://ss1.noteware.net/wanpakuusa.com/j/privateBBS/index.php ), they reply to your account and you get an e-mail saying you received a reply from them. You login to see the reply.

You could also try calling 310 593 9501 (old #, might not still work) or 310-212-0154 and asking for someone to speak to who knows english.

I've been meaning to head over to Users Side for the last week or so... just haven't made it there.

What did they have in stock? Any games? I wanted to go pick up Lumines (or order it...), but wasn't sure if they still had any.

All I remember was Lumines, and it was 40$. I am going to buy it when they get in the PSP and call me, I didn't bother picking any up then. They had a few other games though, and a couple of the official accessories

They said the PSP would take one week (maybe!) and two weeks at most

I made a trip to Users-Side last week and they had Metal Gear Acid, Mahjong, Ridge Racers, and a few other non-english titles. Didn't see Lumines in stock

Last year the last week in December, Users Side had a 20% off everything in the store sale. Too bad they didn't repeat that this year (but imagine the losses they would've taken on prepaid PSP's and DS's and games

This site has them for just over $128 after ground shipping is included, but it's back ordered. Shows a nice realtime update to when they expect more in though, and it looks like they're coming pretty soon.
