Looking at the lists more closely, there's definitely a few games missing from the list...

Tecmo - something for NDS and maybe PSP
From software - Armored Core: Formula Front for PSP
Ignition Entertainment - Mercury for PSP
Planet Moon Studios - Infected for PSP
Ready at Dawn Studios - tba for PSP

I hope Konami doesn't listen to you, and they probably won't.
Let's say Boktai does use a solar sensor again. How will that work? Can't very well have that attached to the DS cartridge, so a separate device that plugs into the GBA slot, I would assume?

Are the DS carts really too small for a sensor? Or a device like the rumble parts of certain GB carts? I really I have no clue about the carts other than technical aspects. Secondly, I'm not the one developing for Konami. :p

I'm really waiting for the software unveiling because both lists only have a few games i'm interested in. I'm especially interested in Sony's since they've been so quite about game announcements since E3.

Going with both but, im way more excited to see the lineup on DS in action, since its unlikely that all of them stick to traditional gaming.
Knock on wood, plzkthx.

Neither lineup has me at all excited yet. I'll keep my eye on Metal Gear Acid, in case it ends up being worthy, instead of just novel. Same with Castlevania and Goemon, as long as they're 2D.

I'm sure the PSP will have a couple more Square-Enix titles. And Nintendo gave the impression that a lot of the games shown were just demos. As if they plan to reveal more games. I hope that's true. Only Wario Ware DS has my interest.

Yeah, I was trying to keep it to major publishers. Planet Moon is also working on a 2nd PSP game, Tecmo actually has two DS games announced (Monster Rancher & a game from Team Ninja) and From is also doing an AC game for DS.

Sony and Nintendo have each only made one software announcement since E3 (both in Japan). Sony's was in late June, Nintendo's just last week.

I'm talking about Sony and PSP developers in general. It's been very quite since E3 in terms of game announcements.

Er, actually about half the known PSP games were confirmed after E3, tons from small Euro/American devs and Sony's big JP list. On the DS side there was almost literally nothing after E3 until just last week, PSP announcements have been far more frequent truthfully.

Great lists. I'm happy that the NDS seems to have the better games. Things are only going to get better, too, as there is still the August western soft announcement. All I need now is a RTS or two :)

I was waiting for that list jarrod. The gap is closing quite a bit, and both systems have a nice solid line up already. I see things on both sides that interest me. I don't feel like counting, but maybe you nkow the numbers, of the western titles yet to be truely "announced" how many do we not know about it? A decent amount?

I'd say most actually. Companies like UbiSoft, Rockstar, Activision and Atari have barely mentioned anything so far, and I'm expecting EA's announcements to triple for both platforms. Most of the western announcements we've gotten (PSP in particular) are from tiny developers who haven't even signed a publisher yet...
