This is a disingenuous analogy, if only because someone can absolutely be a red piller and a self-described PUA, there's definitely no mutual exclusion between the two.

If anything, the Venn diagram between PUAs, redpillers, gators and MRAs would be interesting, if predictable.

I mean, sure, you can pull a "no true PUA", and point to some chill, sex positive dude who doesn't treat women like meat, and isn't a reactionary asshole, but the reality of it is that these communities do overlap each other, and speak to the same kind of guys, resonating for the same reasons.

I would disagree. The growing anger amongst white men in the US is providing a fertile recruiting ground for these groups. The social and economic factors that are influencing this anger are reasonably unique to the US.

I literally just heard of this guy and his group yesterday because a lot of Canadian mayors and politicians spoke out against him possibly coming to some cities.

I mean no one I knew, no one had ever heard of him, until people speaking out against him, giving him the very publicity he seeks. The Streisand effect is real. How many people now know of this guy, what he stands for, his 'group' all because people are upset by him. This is what I hate the most about the modern media. This guy would've come and gone without anyone ACTUALLY caring. Who is this random? When I read the story, his group twitter had 10k followers, just checked now and they're upto 11.7k, I bet the more we talk about them, give them the publicity they seek to get their name out there, they'll keep growing as the few odd randoms who agree with them will find out about them and join their ranks.

Seeing my city on his list makes me sick, I sent out a notice on facebook and called the company that owns pretty much all the nightclubs in our city and warned them about this.

What was funny was that the company had already received emails and phone calls about it and is going to be taking measures to prevent any issues.

I stumbled upon the site that 'doosh' runs and it actually made me feel so much rage and sickness at the same time, how on earth are there people out there like that?
 
I can't seem to get DoNotLink to work on any browser, but RoK just posted that they have now cancelled the meet-ups, citing "a lack of safety or privacy". Some of them might continue, but they're now just unofficial gatherings.

Wow, such hardship. Or you could just be a decent person and attract a mate who likes you enough to not give a shit about lots of that stuff. My wife and I have had "just woken up, no shower, no shave, smelly breath" sex lots of times because we like and respect each other.

What I think is really funny about the whole PUA mentality, they consider themselves "alpha". I'm no PUA but I've attracted and secured a mate, impregnated her, and am now in the process of providing for a protecting my offspring. I'm the fucking alpha! My genes will continue on in this world while this fuck and those like him are genetic dead ends. They are literally failing at life.

I'm just mirroring their stupid use of alpha and beta male descriptors, like human relationships are akin to that of wolves or lions. I haven't read or watched much PUA stuff but the bits I have come across seemed to use those words a lot as well as "female" instead of "woman", indicating a more primal, less respect driven view of the world and the opposite sex.

The last bit was also in the same vein, at the most basic level the purpose of organic organisms is to reproduce and by not doing so they are failing. Human life and relationships are SOOO much more complex though I by no means meant to shame the childless.

Neither. From a cursory google search they consider gay men a plague on public health, a dark omen against a nation's reproductive efficacy, ruin sports, are against gay marriage, and that they guy who caused the Philly Amtrak crash did it because he was a gay. It goes on and on.

I don't know if what their stance on the source of homosexuality in humans, but it's clear they're just homophobic fucks and it probably doesn't matter to them. I'd guess, though, that they probably believe in some sort of subconscious indoctrination theory.
