JP non-IAP alt progress: First S-rank for a 50 stam dungeon...after clearing the Keeper of Gold using the same team this morning. During lunch hour just now I was like, whatever just go try it, and I entered the dungeon w/o evening looking at padx.

It is how crazy to think I just started picking up this account a month ago (opened during the last DB collab)...before it was just doing some pulling using the free stones...

JP server is so good...now I am just salty.

Sometimes this game can be a little scary. @_@

I keep four of each Keeper type at all times, and after this weekend was short one red, one green, one light, one dark. So I started up the red keeper dungeon first thing.

I got four drop from one run: one red fighter, one red keeper, one light keeper, and one dark keeper. 3/4 of my keeper stock replenished in one run.

Scary.

Unrelated, but Ganesha's ult evo seems a little underwhelming; his leader skill remains unchanged. Was hoping for a slight coin boost, or a buff to atk/rcv in addition.

What's a good team for The Thief Descended? Want to try that one if I can.

Anything with water brings it down pretty easily. It is older so it doesn't have the same mechanics as the new descends.

The one true god needs a better AS to be a good sub, counter damage is pretty useless.

As pointed out, PADzora has the coin dungeon listing under the coin icon. Echidna is easy to find, it's at the very top right now. Little less than 2 days left, which is the length of the 2x event bonus and 2.5x skill ups. Good time to go at it if you don't have one max skill yet.

I messed around a little with a very early L. Kali team to replace my Kirin until Awoken Ra hits. With her Ultimate, seems she's strictly better than Kirin, huh. It used to be she was really only better if you had a Fuma. That kind of sucks. I basically have zero reason to run Kirin now. Her new Ult isn't going to change that. Hopefully her inevitable Awoken helps fix that.

I'm actually not really sure how to build L.Kali.

For water subs I have: LZL, chibi Metatron, Sun Quan. So damage enhance, bind heal, or delay + healer burst.

For dark subs I have DIzanami or Yomi. So time extend and CTW or defensive buff.

Valk seems kind of like a must. As does Fuma Kotaro.

So... L.Kali/Valk/Fuma/Sun Quan/Yomi/L.Kali?

I suppose the thing is that I can change the subs depending on my needs? The good thing is that aside from Fuma I can pretty much use all of these subs on my Awoken Ra team too. Speaking of, is there any reason to use L.Kali over Awoken Ra?

They just compress the images, no change in quality. I think it's a permanent process going forward too; my JP account doesn't have the option to switch back and my TW account which was made after the patch was never given the option.

That's not a bad setup. I don't have Fuma, Sun Quan or LZL, so I'm going with L.Kali/L.Kali/Vamp/Valk/D.Kali/L.Kali. Will probably replace Vamp with L.Meta when I get the team cost.

As for your team, I personally would change Sun Quan for LZL as I'd rather have the focus on light TPA rather than the situational active boost of Sun Quan. You can then sub in L.Meta in bind heavy dungeons.

Goemon doesn't have a standard that I know of, he's pretty flexible to what you have. Generally my JP team is Goemon/Minerva/Ronia/Yamato/LuBu/Goemon. Occasionally the PADBT Gigas sub and Echidna. Lu Bu is great for guaranteed activation. Red rows and skill boosts are important awakenings to take advantage of Goemon's full board change by increasing the damage and making it available faster. Almost any red sub is valuable, especially quick orb changers and heart breakers. Heart makers are important in some spots to keep the team above preemptive hit damage. Rodin is noteworthy for his awakenings. Goemon and a full squad of Rodins in challenge mode is push button farming for 5x tech and 3x normals.

Best thing was using Zaerog's haste to keep Dark Izanami up almost the whole time. #Isissalt

Also, BFF is a two way tag already, no need to swap since you both get access to each other's leads after one side chooses to BFF. A good idea is to have three people exchange, going Person1 -> Person2, P2 -> P3, P3 -> P1. That way all three people gain 2 BFFs and can use everyone's leaders.

I did it! I know it's not a big accomplishment for better players but hitting all my l Kali combos for a victory is huge for me. Now I finally got Beezlebub as well.

This early game team. Evo materials are better than some random drops and team cost is relevant again. Its fun to play PAD from the beginning again.

Also Saint Seiya collab dungeon music is awesome.

So cruel. One skyfall of anything would have done it, but got none in a no RCV dungeon. Then got a 15 combo off this board and still didn't have anywhere near enough.

Rematch: Died to Gabriel because I forgot his dumb auto kill instead of heal when you're below HP threshold. Sigh.

Chibi liu bei isn't great because his TPAs are sort of what make him viable. MeiMei's awakenings are a great plus, but her board change is what you want so the chibi form of her (While not ideal) is still decent enough. What other green monsters do you have?

Cleared Beelzebub/Devil Challenge for the Water Jewel - failed 3 times in a row on Mephisto - man i hate that stage. Sometimes always screws you over on that stage.
My Mephisto screw-ups with rainbow combo leaders make me look even more forward to Awoken Bastet, maybe her playstyle will work better for me.

Cleared Hera Sowilo Mythical for the free stone today - Verdandi/Perseus max for 100% skill bind resist. Hope i can get Dark Izanami tomorrow.

Hmm...he sounds interesting but also quite stressful to play, i already have issues with GZL being under 80% but unter 20% sounds like a nightmare when you have preemptive or have to deal with binds.

So Rows also work if the full board is changed into one single color ? Or how does it work ? Maybe i should just watch a gameplay videos of him heh.

Michael is great. Gronia is pretty solid if you combo her active with Michael's. You probably want more 2PA users in the other slots though.

The good thing about ultimate Goemon is that he does 2.5 x atk under 50% (+ another 1.2 x atk for physical and dragon types). You don't have to stay under 20% all the time to do damage, and his new active brings your hp down to 1 as well as makes a full fire board. Much better than original Goemon.

On the topic of full board counting as a row, dunno if there's any specific viability in terms of team synergy, but there're those mons that make horizontal rows of [orb] as an active, Wee Jas with hearts for example. So like, Green Zeus followed by Green Wee Jas would make two rows. Not sure off the top of my head what other notable mons have a row-based orb change.

Cleared Challenge Dungeon level 8 on my first try with my LKali team (iPhone). One shot Sandalphon with Izanagi's skill.
I guess playing it a few times with my Ra team (iPad) helped me get used to the dungeon.

I also cleared level 7 with my Ronia/Lu bu team (iPad). It seems easier now with Sopdet instead of Thoth and Sopdet.

Well LKali does have an easier to activate leader skill. You don't have to worry about having every color. You can generally have a more light focused team since you don't have to worry about having every color. On my LKali team I have LKali and LMeta and that covers 3 colors already. I only need somebody to cover dark and the rest I can choose whatever I need.

You can also have more light combos if you use Fuma Kotaro in there as well.
You can have have a stronger attack (36x vs. 25x) if you don't use any skills.

Yeah, I've read about the triangle but wanted to make sure whoever I add as a BF runs similar heroes. Someone with the Greek resist leads and burst I mentioned would be ideal.

I think orb changers shall always be welcome in A.Shiva team, if there are no better choices like Valk or Cao Cao. 20.25x is already a very competitive multiplier.

If you have registered the account migration before, and been signing in Google account every time you play the game, then no. No secret code is needed.

Upon you get your hands on your new phone, just choose migration using Google account in the name entering screen, enter your PAD ID, verify, and click recover you will be done. The game will tell you your current rank, # of stones in your account.

Sadly I don't have either of those monsters. I have a maxed skilled gigas, but our version doesn't have TPA according to pdx not sure if that's making it's way over here.

Would this make a good awoken Shiva team?

Perfectly fine. Ronia can give issues with making six combos, so don't plan to use her for final burst most of the time. Suzaku or Urd are preferable, but Ronia fits in a pinch. Nothing wrong with taking Minerva, especially since she combos so well with Kagutsuchi. Shiva and Kagu can bring enough TPA damage on their own.

I would either have to grind to 10 million for the dungeon (and use all of my current gold) or wait for Tama retreat to hit again. Of course Stones are more valuable, but I won't be complaining about Tamas given how many I need.

Tamadra Retreat hits about twice a month though. Just build a fast farm team and burn as many stones you want on it.

Hack, even evolving the babies are probably better than not getting stones.

This allows me to be lazy and do my awakenings now, so I won't personally complain about it. I can see why some would be upset, but I don't mind Tama events every once in a while, especially if they are primarily used as part of a 2-part event.

I would like to see Pii's take the place of event tamas, but that will likely take a while to happen.
