There's an Asian Game Show this Friday in Hong Kong and SONY will make the announcement regarding the PSP

rumors have it that that the Asian PSP is $192 (HKD?) for the standard version and the earliest rumored availability is January-march.

This is where I'm a little puzzled, Sony only had 200k units available for the japanese launch(With some of them being defective).

Yet they seem to hint at a worldwide launch within Q1 of next year.
(Korea, Europe, North America and now Hong Kong)

How is this possible? Were they secretly manufacturing units by the millions, which I seriously doubt.

Their production capacity is supposed to be roughly 750k a month (but don't ask me how many of them are defective), totalling the target shipment of ~3M worldwide by March.

And if PSP will sell for 192$ HKD (30$ US), I am preordering a 1000 units right away

The price is likely $192 (USD) considering $192 (HKD) is ~$25 (USD).
