Quality YouTube channels that deserve more viewers/subscribers.

I've been watching this channel called Screenwashed that dissects Hollywood movies that intentionally try to shape public behaviours.
They do a great job of breaking down the films to their cultural intent.
A new channel sure, but one that deserves more subs than it currently has.
(I have nothing to do with this channel by the way).

And while I'm at it, I'm going to shout out for my man BitHead1000.
The guy is funny enough to be a comedian, but here he is with his sub-100k YT channel.

How YouTubers minds were DESTROYED by the need to see themselves as a victims.

Both of the channels I linked feel like they're straight out of the good old days of lets play channels. I think they both have day jobs, because they're definitely not doing this desperate clickbait shit and therefore definitely going to remain niche forever :pie_relieved:

RedLetterMedia deserves like a gazillion viewers.

Kyle Bosman also deserves a lot more viewers. He's amazing and very unique. Though I did prefer The Final Bosman, it was much more creative.

He already has a lot of subscribers, but it's probably the highest quality channel on the Tubes.

He only uploads 1-2 times a year but it is like Christmas 🎅 each time he does.

I found a BBQ/cooking channel earlier this year that I really enjoy. It's just a big ol' southern dude talking about grilling and smoking food, while he drinks bourbon and talks a lot about history and other random shit. Really well produced, too.

Fork & Embers

I used to really like the Why Files..but then I just didnt anymore.
I think they sort of ran out of stuff/conspiracies to make episodes about. The Basement has been pretty interesting with some guests though. But I hope he gets Graham Hancock on there.

If you're interested in what certain places/areas are like this is really great ground zero journalism. Mostly US locations but he has a few other interesting places around the globe on his playlist.

Covers a myriad of guests/subjects. While nobody is unbiased, Chris is probably the least bias/most curious of the interview-type podcast I've come across. More informative than entertaining though.

Probably the most entertaining raw talk/rant podcaster out there. Not for everyone, especially the easy offended, he shits on everything/everyone like a pigeon and it all depends on what hot in the news cycle.

Another natural entertaining ranter but for my favorite sport.

Every once in a while I get into the pro Starcraft II itch and this guy always has quality content covering a wide range from pro matches to just trolling other players.

A longtime NES speedrunner who doesn't say much but is the reason I enjoy the content, very relaxing to watch.

IMO all informative outerspace/universe channels I find overly annoying. Most either constantly repeat the same lines in the same video, has a bunch of mundane/obvious details, or has no details other than pictures/videos. This is the least annoying of the ones I've come across. Happy for any other suggestions in this field however.

Despot of Antrim. He doesn't make short videos but he does make fucking funny videos. Kind of like Critical Drinker but sharper and funnier, and a lot more effort put into his stuff.

I like drinker but it always made me laugh (If you watched his old open bars), he never had actually watched a lot of films. Folks would super chat about films, and not just niche ones, but well known classics.. and he'd never of seen it, a lot of the time

I'll check out Despot (y)
