I really like the forums over @ [H]ard|OCP....they seem very helpful and informative...

I am currently undertaking a business project that I can't talk that much about right now that will entail setting up a Linux server, a peer to peer network and some other things....

As you might know, I am a n00b too all this and I would like to know about what I need to learn, what hardware and software costs will be, where to go to get them, and the different types of systems models out there...not to mention security is a big issue with me too....

Here's the thing, though.....I am not allowed to join the forum because I only have a hotmail e-mail account embarrassed) and it seems as though hotmail e-mails have been blocked @ [H]ard|OCP...

So I am wondering....are there any other free email accounts (yahoo? Google? others?) that I can sign up on so I can join their forums?

I don't really want to waste my time via trial and error with every free email services out there to see if one works.....if anyone is already a member of the [H]ard|OCP forums but has a free email account, could you please inform me??

If not, could you recommend me some other good [H]ard|OCP-ish forums out there that I *might* be able to use with my current hotmail account?

Your ISP email? You should be able to set up a couple sub accounts there so you don't give out the main one. I had to do that for here.

Gmail might work, but I'm unsure. It seems to pass most other free email filters. If you need an invite, I have plenty.
