ok. i live in australia. what power converter do i need? we use 240 VT here, can anyone whos imported a US 360 or someone in the know, tell me EXACTLY the specs of the converter that i need? like including the mA or whatever? (complete noob with power conversion here)

rod, I believe you'll need to buy a European Xbox 360. I remember hearing the various regions had different power supplies and the German ones are 200-240V ~2.7A, 47-63Hz. Remember, though, Eruope runs on 50Hz rather than 60Hz for their TVs, so be careful with your purchase. Also, just for safety sake I'd double check my numbers with someone else, just in case I somehow messed up.

Rod, most of the people importing NTSC X360's to Australia are using 1000W step down transformer. It would cost you $200+.

DvDCrave.com.au is going to import 50 PAL X360's which you will be able to use simply by buying a converter plug and not a full blown stepdown transformer. The price will be $899AUD with a game.

I think some Nintendo fanboy from Australia gained access to a mod or admin account a few months back and banned people and deleted threads. Ever since then there has been a lot of hate towards Australia on this forum. Or, they are just being jerk offs.
