I picked up 2 copies of ICO (SO I CAN GET RICH AND SELL IT FOR MILLIONS IN 10 YEARS) for 20$, i received the package this morning!

Booted the game, the intro cutscenes were pretty neat. I get to the game itself. And ugh god, whats up with the graphic filters that they use? I didnt get very far, I only wanted to test if the game was working, so I walked around in the first room, used a switch and then got into some sort of small room with a big chain to hang on.

Anyway, I really dont like the graphic filters. I'm playing on a 57' widescreen tv and the ps2 is connected thru svideo cables, and ICO just looks.. strange. It's a mix of blurry and pixelated

Oh well the game looks like a cool puzzler, thanks for the recommendation GAF!

If you can, you really should play ICO on a regular, interlaced CRT TV (and not too big TV at that - 20-26" ideally I would say). Then the graphics mode used makes perfect sense, and looks really nice.

The game runs at a really low resolution. If you have an older TV, by all means use it to play this game.
