Rampage Jacksons stupid ass son nearly kills a wrestler

I'm going off the assumption that he doesn't have a criminal record and will show remorse. Raja didn't grow up on the streets. He lived a comfy lifestyle thanks to his father. He made a terrible choice here but he's not a bad guy per se.
How can you say he's not a bad guy after watching that? bad people are the ones who can't control themselves. That's what makes them bad.

He would have killed him.

That's another thing. If nobody intervened he absolutely would've kept going and just flat out kill the man in front of the crowd and thousands of people watching. I don't know the guy's current condition but there's a chance he may have depending on any possible complications he may have suffered. If this were a real UFC match, the ref would've stopped the fight after the 2nd punch at most. Raja got in 20 full force punches before he was pulled off. I'd be amazed if this wrestler recovers clean from this.

All in all, Raja needs to be completely removed from society and place in a maximum security prison where he belongs. He's not fit to be walking amongst other human beings.

I'm speaking generally. Everyone makes mistakes, though this is obviously on the extreme side. Does he have a history of violence? That will be a factor.

I quickly checked with ChatGPT and it's more likely to be between 5-20 years depending on how severe his injuries are. If it's seen as attempted murder(I don't think so though) it could be 10 to life. If I remember correctly he bled from the ears, nose and mouth which might be because of brain injury.

I'm expecting a lengthy punishment.
Depends on a lot of things. People guilty of murder sometimes get lesser sentences than 15-20 years.

Here's an example from my area. Only 4 years for killing 2 people. Lots of people were unhappy about it.

He was streaming before the fight, talking about how he wanted to fuck up a wrestler, he wanted to show off.

Its not really crazy to assume that anything wrestling is fake. The wrestling opponent of the guy who got hit just remaining in position 'stunned' immediately had me thinking this was fake. Its possible he was just playing along until whatever was happening became clear. Its also possible this was all supposed to happen but Jackson lost it and instead of some fake pulled punches went full power.
You can get the fuck out too. I know wrestling. This was not it.

Oh so it was an empty beer can, not a gimmick bottle.

Guy was working Raja and Raja wasn't prepared. Took offense and it escalated to an absurd degree.
I think the incident that really sparked this was him getting head kicked and nearly knocked out a few days ago while streaming and all his followers calling him a bitch for not retaliating etc. his dad even made a video saying stupid shit like "stand up for yourself and don't ever let anyonn disrespect you like that". This was his chance to save face in front of his streamers

Bingo. When he finally settles down and reflects on the ramifactions of what he's done, his whole world is going to swallow him up.

His lack of remorse and nonchalant attitude towards the other dude after it went down is even worse. "Yo the dude is in the ring flatlined, they can't wake him up". His response, "my bad" 😆😐😐

To be fair to Quinton, he's just doing what any father would do. Raja clearly wants to follow in his father's footsteps but has serious mental health issues. The language he was using after the assault suggests he struggles with it every day and this time he snapped. Definitely needs to serve time and take mandatory anger management classes.
That's not true my brother got in trouble with the law as a young man never once did my dad defend him or make excuses for him. Was my Dad visiting him every weekend? Yes, but he never defended him or made excuses for my brother

Apparently the takedown was the planned spot, in a business built on trust that guy would have had no time to react.

I believe it was the case. Specially after the first altercation and the wrestler didn't even reacted when Raja pulled him. He was probably thinking in "taking one for the show".

But you don't head slam some one full force on the side of the head. Even on MMA guys barely pull that shit because it can fuck you up for life.
Rampage did one on Ricardo Arona on Pride, later he regretted and admitted he only did it because Arona was really pissing him off.

Not even considering the barrage after, Raja will spent a good time in jail.

Horrible. One punch can kill and that was MANY, MANY full force blows to the head.

What a piece of shit. If someone is down and out there is no fight. Man can't control himself, what an animal.

I advise you to look up actual behind the scenes footage on wrestling. The only thing fake are the winners, losers, and (usually) the punches.

Everything else is very well coordinated stuntwork. When the coordination is off or if anything goes wrong, people get injured or at worse die. It's why Mick Foley was considered such a legend even though he was never on the level of Stone Cold or The Rock in terms of popularity. He actually put his body on the line with some of the stunts he did.

Even simply taking a bump on the mat hurts like hell if you're not used to it. That's why they have to be very careful when setting up guest appearances.

Never heard of either of them, but if they are celebrities, that is a very high bar to overcome in the US legal system unless they have done something directly against the state or adjacent institutions.

I don't know who any of these people are, but I didn't expect to see an attempted murder on GAF today. That dude is absolutely off his rocker and needs to be put in prison. What the hell man…

Raja's father was one of the biggest names in Pride and UFC 20+ years ago. He also did some work in TNA.

Only stupid people get involved with dumbass social media and streaming antics. Good on them if they can be chill and make a living out of it.

But most people dont get involved. Or they just post boring family or dog pics, or.... Hey! Here's a pic of me at a baseball game with friends! They got enough sensibility to not go overboard on dumb shit to begin with. And even if something weird happens, they go on the down low. Not explode for everyone to see idiocy on Twitter or FB.

Just watched it.

They went to Rampage after the entire thing happened and recorded a reaction video.

Wtf is wrong with this generation???
Too many dumbasses on social media looking for attention, subs, or trying to prove to the world they can one up other people on low brow social media sites. The wild west of idiocy. Amazingly, it wasnt like this when Twitter, FB and YT launched about 20 years ago. It was pretty chill.

But look at that!!!! Go onto another social media site like Linkedin and everyone but the most unhinged weirdos seem pretty chill, professional, doesn't rag on other companies or people, and even have a pretty good looking profile pic.

Funny how that works.

Did you miss his caveman ooga booga I ain't playin people be calling me a bitch routine and him threatening the baseball fury from The Warriors after the fact?

Not a bad guy per se? That privilege(tm) if anything makes it worse. Terrible choice would have just been to shoot on the guy over basically nothing, especially after there was an apology. Pounding a dude in the head repeatedly that's clearly already knocked out is a 'no more society for you' kind of choice.

What's the tweet about race thing? What's race or should I ask what clowns are trying to bring race into it.

A guy took a tiny perceived slight and then decided to nearly murder someone.
Just the usual social media noise. Obviously this has nothing to do with that.

As more information comes out I'm leaning the other way. He was talking about fucking that dude up on stream before the attack after they squashed the beef. He's probably screwed.

Hard to say but I'm guessing the guy was working an angle that would lead to Raja interfering in the match later that night but he didn't clue in Raja about using the gimmick bottle and Raja didn't respond well to it.

He was working an angle. After he crushed the can on his head, I'm pretty sure he said "are you gonna sell it?"

What's even crazier, there was apparently over an hour between that incident and the assault. So, it was clearly pre meditated.

If anyone has followed Rampage's career, I bet they had the same thought right away. His dad probably bullied the shit out of him as a kid.

bruv, it's wrestling, the refs aren't actual refs, they are actors like the rest of them.
In WWE the refs actually will have to help coordinate moments and will have to react on the fly if there's unplanned things such as injuries and there's been refs who have reacted to fans running into the ring (WCW had a bunch of times fans would enter the ring).
I take it the others in the ring were not expecting things to go so out of hand and were completely caught off guard by it all but yeah it was a painfully long time to see them right there and not throwing Raja off him.

Yep. Makes me hate Raja even more. Because the way he tries to save face is by beating the shit out of a guy who wasn't going to fight back.

Awful. I hope the injured man is cared for and compensated appropriately.

The guy that attacked him obviously should face legal consequences for his actions and clearly isn't cut out to be a professional fighter in any capacity.

At first I thought it was a set up. The slam looked rather well executed and then I thought it was a bit of a hit but then it became clear right after that, something was clearly wrong.

Crazy stuff
