Random thoughts.

Ugh, in about a week i have a minor surgery to remove a chalazion on my upper eyelid, did anyone of you ever had something similar? Is the scar too visible?

They told me there is zero risk of anything but i don't really trust sicilian "doctors" :lollipop_grinning_sweat:

The Last Starfighter. Watch it if you haven't seen it.

Just watched it for the first time in 20yrs the other day with the new 4K UHD Blu-ray by Arrow. Looked really nice.

I developed a few of these two years ago. One disappeared after about a year, one I "took care of" myself and the other has just kinda receded into a miniscule little bump that I don't even notice. Haven't had anything since, was just a freak thing.

Neogaf has the weirdest ads. Yeah yeah cookies and all that shit but I seriously never get the level of oddity or seemingly random topics thrown at me on other sites.

Karoline Levitts bikini photos aren't being promised to me on any other site.

I was gonna leave the pic of her but neogaf doesn't want to upload photos today. This function is seriously fucked and there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason why I can't load a picture some days on here and it's fine others.

Average male writing love songs about women: "I love you so much", "I can't live without you", "you're my world", "I'll do anything for you".

Average female writing love songs about men: "I hate you", "you suck", "fuck you", "I don't need you", "I hope you die", "you don't impress me".

Alpha males really do mess with women's psyche, eh?

Bastards.

I'm surprised he suggested a surgery, usually it's a cream you apply on your eye to decrease the size.

we already tried the eyedrops, creams etc.

Some people are genetically predisposed to have more frequent\resistant "eye stones".

On the other hand, i had the lasik surgery 20 years ago and i still have 14\10, or 24\20 fro american people, dude told me that it's extremely rare to maintain perfect vision after so many years and when lasik wasn't as common as today.

I see, hopefully it'll go well with you. I got blind one eye from Lasik, they could never fix it.

If you listen the doctor, it's a very simple surgery with zero risk other than having a scar on your eyelid that should not be visible because they cut where the skin folds or some shit.

Lasik had way higher risk back in the days because they were touching the eye directly.

When I see Jeremy Renner in a lead role I always imagine he was the 3rd or 4th choice.

Hollywood exec: "Well Liam Neeson said no and Jason Statham is busy.
Aww shit call Jeremy Renner, we start shooting in a week."

He's a decent actor, I remember seeing him in The Hurt Locker before he got big. I think that was one of his first movies

I'm currently researching hypogamy for the next few days to see if it's a *real* thing, and I'll be back to discuss my findings with you all sometime later.

Saw maladaptive daydreaming brought up on social media. People claiming it's a sin and unhealthy. I disagree that it's a problem in and of itself. Can people be lost in their own minds? Sure, but what if they don't act on it. Then what?

Social media brings up these things and I wonder if it's just another trend to combat what's influencing people to go online, like TikTok, Instagram, or X. People who live out their "lifestyle" for everyone to see. I wonder if it's maladaptive daydreaming or something else. Is it too self righteous to call everything someone believes as made up, maladaptive daydreaming. I think this whole thing caught me off guard and there's some crazy ass people in the world.

probably because it was made before the internet
In all seriousness, I found this tidbit which I found interesting;

Awful" originally meant "inspiring awe" or "full of awe," according to Deseret News. However, its meaning shifted over time to the negative connotations it has today.

I can't really drink alcohol much anymore due to medical issues but so long as Smirnoff keeps making this, I will keep it stocked in my fridge.

Feeding the birds this morning, like most mornings.. and it hit me

Why do we not see more dead birds everywhere?

There's millions of these beasts flying everywhere and the only dead ones I've ever seen are from my cat, or run over..

Nature doesn't waste food. It's also why if you die in the woods you can completely disappear without a trace

So thinking about this MS bs in the last 36 hours or so; let's break it down...

There were studios that had 400 people working for like 7 years.

That's 2800 man-years,

Imagine what you could achieve in 2800 years.

If fucking Jesus was given at 4080Ti and a 14900K to make a game in his day, and he worked his ass off doing 40hr weeks until yesterday, there would still be almost 800 years left.

smh. "lollipop_disappointed:

True, but what about large urban areas?

Ive never seen any dead birds in London

With the amount of birds, including Pigeons, you'd think you'd see a fair few more carcass around

It's a bit odd.

Ah, that crafty bastard! Again, true, but humans normally out number them in places like London, and normally nocturnal. But you'd think you'd see a few more actual bodies before they got to them

It's just an odd thing I've noticed..

The only carcass I think I came across randomly was back in the 90s, or run over Pigeons, or pheasants on the back lanes or motorways.
