1. Goldeneye - So awesome, which is weird cause I remember alot of people dogging the film when it came out. :/

2. Tommarow Never Dies - Brosnan firing two guns at once and the naming of one of the villans after Chris Stamper from Rare..nuff said.

3. Die Another Day - Some forgettable acting knocks this one down for me. However the first 30 mins of the movie was one of the best Bond scenes ever IMO.

4. The World is Not Enough - This movie sucked, I really dont know what else to say.

Edit: *reads thread starters post*, Ok, I guess I should of just said "I agree". :)

Exactly. Why do people hate TND?

That's a good question I have no answer for. If it's too off-the-wall, too goofy (media baron creating disasters to get good ratings and exclusive Chinese broadcasting rights), then you really can't like the rest of the Bond movies either.. because that's what they all are like. They're over the top.. they're usually cheesy.. etc. I like them for those reasons though. :)

Who knows Imo a great Bond flick (maybe too serious for some)

anyway my list:

1. Goldeneye
2. Tommorow Never Dies

3. The World Is Not Enough (liked it in the theatre, not so much the second time I saw it)

4. Die Another Day ( I couldn't finish it Barry just got on my nerves too much)

1) Goldeneye, by a good margin, serious tone and unique bad guy, tank sequence, Famke and Isabella both radiant, etc
2) Tomorrow Never Dies, fun to rewatch, great bike scene, Teri looks great/great chemistry with Pierce, Michelle kicked tail while also showing good chemistry later on with Pierce
....
3, tentatively) Die Another Day, between the absurdly over-the-top special effects, MTV editing, and Halle not only looking like she's afraid to break a nail during the action sequences but also seemed to be lacking any real spark with Pierce (mind, I like Halle in some other stuff, but not here)

And to this day I've never gotten around to the other one, I guess that would be the one with Denise as the nuclear scientist...I really should get around to it though see if it places 3rd or 4th.

While The World is Not Enough is my least favorite of the current Bond movies, I still recommend it. It's pretty good.. :) Most others don't agree, but ah well.

Goldeneye was amazing. Ourumov, Trevelyan, Borris, Natalya, Valentin, and Jack Wade all played memorable roles, the first three characters I listed in particular. The tank chase was simply awesome, and the whole final fight with bond fighting trevelyan ruled.

I have not seen Die Another Day, but in general, the consensus here (and everywhere else I go) on the rankings of the Brosnan bond movies is this:

#1: Goldeneye

#2: Tomorrow Never Dies. It has some haters, but in general, there's usually some #3s and #1 ranks that this movie receives, but the majority rank it as #2.

#3: TWINE. Many haters, but most supporters rank it #2 or #3 out of the four brosnan movies, with the majority of those being #3.

#4: Die Another Day Either the least favorite or #3 for most people, few people seemed to enjoy it.

The only reason I liked The World is Not Enough is because of the gorgeous Sophie Marceau. Her body saved the movie from being an absolute trainwreck.

That, and the cameo by Valentine. :)
