We don't have all the evidence and there is no video of him actually hitting her. Where is the "benefit of the doubt" defense force that usually comes out?

Oh wait I see.....nevermind.

Are you serious? It's rumored they video of him hitting her as well. And in any case, what scenario are you picturing?

Of course there is video of the punch, he did this in a casino, A CASINO, the security camera meccas of the universe.

Dude should be suspended and given actual time behind bars...and be forced to marry her sans pre-nup.

I'm not reading MWS as asking for the benefit of the doubt in this situation, merely pointing out the inconsistency of its usage.

Maybe he should pick a better case to point that out then? Not one where a football player drags an unconscious fiancé from an elevator. And one where there's video evidence to support such abhorrent behavior.

People get the benefit of the doubt when teenagers get killed by men with hundreds of pounds on them, not seeing how this is worse than that.

I don't really want to make this into a huge ordeal, but this is why the GAF hivemind crap is bad. I was emotionally charged over trayvon kinda like I am this. It hasn't ended in a tragic death thankfully, but I still haven't given Zimmerman the benefit of the doubt and doubt I will this asshole either.

not to play doubles advocate here but...

I wouldn't be surprised if they were drunk as hell. We'll have to hear about any physical damages before making ascertations that he beat the shit out of her in the elevator. There very well could have been a minor altercation outside the hotel (pushing and such) but this could've all been fueled by alcohol.

Either way, I hate the guy for ruining my fantasy team last year so throw him into the jail cell

What the hell?
