Maybe but 4K had a much bigger market penetration, which I don't think 8K is even close. I saw an 8K monitor out there for like 10k it's stupid.Didn't people say the same thing about 4K a few years ago?
no DLSS is a huge blow but now that xess and fsr 2.0 exist, IT"S FINE.On twitter, Videocardz is saying:
So far the cards seem cool. That raytracing performance lookin' sketchy though.
- 7900 XTX - $999
- 7900 XT - $899
7600 XT in PS5 PRO 2023.This presentation has me more excited for PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X(X)
*FSR2.2 + FSR3.0 Motion (same as DLSS3)no DLSS is a huge blow but now that xess and fsr 2.0 exist, IT"S FINE.
I think FSR is getting better, so hopefully that translate in games. Especially since they just announced FSR 3.no DLSS is a huge blow but now that xess and fsr 2.0 exist, IT"S FINE.
I am thinking once FSR gets bigger on consoles, it will get perfected.I think FSR is getting better, so hopefully that translate in games. Especially since they just announced FSR 3.

The kind of person buying a PC that can push 8K gaming is probably also the kind of guy that can afford whatever display he wants. If someone wanted 8K they wouldn't buy a "monitor" as you'd never be able to see that level of pixel density. You'd have to use a 55" 8K TV as a monitor, which are like 2-3 grand.
Smart play if they manage to get their processor + mobo at decent prices. Color me interested!Fuckers are doing prebuilts
I had 8k a year ago, what they don't tell you is that 8k increases latency/input lag. Your lightening quick 1ms @4k raises to a noticeable delay once you go 8k. Image quality is amazing though. Like moving from 1440p to 4k.The kind of person buying a PC that can push 8K gaming is probably also the kind of guy that can afford whatever display he wants.
People told me that I wouldn't' be able to see the difference between 1440p and 4k on a monitor, but I can tell the difference fairly easily. If someone wanted 8K they wouldn't buy a "monitor" as you'd never be able to see that level of pixel density. You'd have to use a 55" 8K TV as a monitor, which are like 2-3 grand, but they're probably all Samsung which often have terrible pentile/dithering artifacts (making them terrible monitors).
The 6900 XT cost $999The $899 card is there to push you to the $999 one...lol
That way you think you're getting a "deal". Welcome to the world of $1000 high end GPUs. What a joke.

That was with RT on ultra and FSR / DLSS turned on so yeah, RT.In rasterisation yes but not RT?
The real question is : will the 7900xtx/xt beat a 3090 that much to justify going for it.
RT will prob still be faster on the 3090, but rasterization will be slower. But by how much...
No, how? The 3090 and 7900xtx/xt would be around the same price point currently. You mean 4090 right?
No, how? The 3090 and 7900xtx/xt would be around the same price point currently.
Best they can do is match the 3xxx series in RT, and even them I'm skeptical.
Not in RT - Itll touch the 3xxx series, maybe at best.Lol, AMD is clearly aiming at 4090 and 4080.
Well played, good Sir.In before people start crying about this youtuber.
Based on the FPS data provided by AMD, the 7900 XTX should match or beat the 3090 Ti in RT.Not in RT - Itll touch the 3xxx series, maybe at best.
That was my ultimate point - how much faster will it be compared to a 3090. If the difference isn't that much, some will choose the 3090 for the RT performance.
We need raw numbers.
How do you compare? By how many FPS with RT on?Based on the FPS data provided by AMD, the 7900 XTX should match or beat the 3090 Ti in RT.
RE Village 4K RTHow do you compare? By how many FPS with RT on?
So Amd's best offering cant even surpass a 3090 in RT performance...man even Intel were much better on their first attempt in regards to RT. That was depressing, was hoping for some competition to shake up Nvidia but well onto the next generation hype/bust cycle.
I think thats when FSR 2.2 comes inWhat a mess of a presentation.
Also DLSS3 iscrapvery limited in real scenarios - why need to copy that?
The biggest issues with FSR 2:I think thats when FSR 2.2 comes in
