I'm Indian, so obviously Indian is #1 for me (though South Indian is better. I think North Indian is too greasy and rich)
Then after that probably Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese, in no particular order.

How many of you eat Thayir Sadam/Dahi Sadam?
It's seriously my soul food. My Sri Lankan brother in law is the only person I know more addicted to thayir sadam than I am.
For those that don't know, thayir sadam is steamed rice mixed with curd/yogurt. In the west, it's easiest to mix with a mixture of plain yogurt and buttermilk.

I've never tried it but now I'm going to.
The one thing I miss the most since i've left the states (food wise) is chinese food. And Whataburger.
Seriously, those corn puff things with combo chicken, god I miss it. They sell it here in a restaurant far away, for super expensive, but the taste isn't even really the same.

Me and mine dated for about 3 months in '07. Then around the middle of November, she asked me if she could fly back to Texas to have Thanksgiving with her relatives. Since I'm not a heartless monster, I said "sure thing, have fun!"
I didn't hear from her again until January, when she sent me a message on MySpace (which was all the rage at the time) saying that she was ending the relationship, but wouldn't tell me why. I figured something was up when I checked her profile in December and noticed that everything related to me that she had put up had mysteriously disappeared.
Fast forward to November '08, and she sends me a message apologizing for everything. I asked her why she did it in the first place, and all she could say was that she "had issues." She still lives in Texas, and we still talk, because I'm too nice of a guy to burn bridges. :|

Really? Man, it's a staple in my family.
Vietnamese food is incredible. You haven't lived until you've had a well prepared bowl of Pho. I make my own Japanese recipes. One that I make and I'm particularly fond of is my Tonkatsu which is breaded and fried pork cutlets over rice. Its a simple dish, but when done right is so good.

Yeah, don't want to derail this thread but when 9/11 happened the jokes in elemntary/JH definitely started coming out of the bag. It was mostly play, but it got to me sometimes.
Thankfully (maybe that's wrong), I look quite white, lol.
Lol, pretty sure the concept of a 'turkey' being a country when I was in elementary school was pretty vague as well, haha.

Most Indian food in restaurants is North Indian (which is all greasy, fried and rich). I'm not actually a huge fan of North Indian food.
South Indian food is far far better.

I honestly cant say I've ever had Yemeni food. Is it pretty much the same as Persian food with some twists or are there dishes that are distinctly Yemen?

Yeah, I know it and she knows it too. Truth be told, I don't really regret keeping her as a friend now. But it was a lot easier to make that decision due to her being halfway across the country from me.

I knew this was going to be a problem from the start. Like this one girl who was in some other thread going on about how she thought she was the "most unattractive person in the world" and how nobody ever hit on her, and I was tempted to comment on how she looked like Hayden Panettiere (hawt), but decided against it because for all I know she's using a web cam photo of Hayden Panettiere.
