I could go for some onion rings right about now.
Yes. YES. YES. Onions in everything, onions ON everything.
Half onion taco? How many times do you brush your teeth after that meal? :|People always think I'm crazy because when I put together a taco it is composed of about half onion![]()
Hmm, I just woke up after first using it... When I was posting yesterday I got really sleepy after taking the melatonin, so I immediately went to sleep without shutting down the laptop even! And it did get me to sleep alright, however I felt horrible during the whole process. I woke up maybe 6 times in some weird state feeling really bad, and also had a bunch of vivid dreams. Now I am up at 8 am on the other hand, which is damn impressive for me because normally I'd just be sleeping in, so I guess it works. I'll be sticking with the stuff for a week and see if it gets me where I want to be! So yeah, you don't get a good night sleep from but it worksTotally. Drugs do nothing (except that Ambien that I tried once because I was seriously going to be in danger on the road if I didn't get some sleep that night, but I don't want to regularly use something on that level). I've found that the only thing that helps me sleep is either serious sleep deprivation or going to bed next to a girl (because, well, I can't fidget and roll around and such, and the mandatory keeping still eventually knocks me out after forty or fifty minutes).

Don't encourage her! Parsnips, dammit! (Though onions are very versatile)
My favorite vegetable is actually onions. To me they are absolute perfection.
I just happened to be eating cauliflower just then.
It's interesting to me those who love to keep objects and those who don't. I don't think I'm so attached to things that I couldn't leave it all behind if I had to, nothing is precious enough for that. But it does make me smile when I see something that links to a special memory.
Yeah I'm not sure I can deny this. My hard drives, music collection, personal recorded music and writings, stored images, etc., have stayed with me over basically 10 years of my life as I always kept everything when upgrading. The machine itself I don't find an extreme personal attachment to- but if my possessions were all destroyed I would mourn its loss the most.My computer is my most valuable object... lol. And I guess anything that my friends give me I guess XD
I actually have never had parsnips. I'll have to pick up some next time I'm food shopping. How do you recommend them?

My sister is a 'keeper/hoarder'. Her reaction to all the moving was the cleave to ANYTHING and EVERYTHING so that she'd have some kind of sense of permanence. It used to annoy the hell out of me (because I'm not a sentimental person by nurture), but I understand it a bit better now.
Onions are great, don't get me wrong! Onion breath on the other hand...Why?Onions forever!

Are you a Mac or Windows user? If Mac, GarageBand is a great place to start. Not too familiar with Windows software but I hear Cakewalk (Link) have some good products you could check out.
Let me know how it goes.
Whenever I move, I end up just dumping a lot of shit. I can't be bothered/moving stress. Norally I'm a bit of a horder though. Just under moving conditions I basically throw everything out except recent clothing purchases, the nice sheets/bedroom things and my computer/tech/hardware. I still have tshirts from the 7th grade that still fit me (better actually)
I am convinced food is the most discussed topic in this thread.
Now I'm going to eat cereal at 2 in the morning.
GOODSeriously. I wish I could but I ought to get to bed. Eating so late at night makes me feel guilty.
Best midnight snack is a spoonful of peanut butter washed down with milk.
Hmm, most treasured object(s)?

Both belonged to my father who passed away almost a year ago.
The badge is his retirement badge from the Inglewood PD, 28 years on the force.
The gun is a Colt .45 Single Action Army that he won in a quick-draw tournament when he was in his 20's I think, in the late 50's or early 60's. He placed 2nd, by hitting a 2 inch target from 25ft, in less than quarter of a second. He hit the target on his second shot, while the winner (his friend) hit it on his first.
The gun was part of a pair, but its partner was stolen when my oldest brother had a house party many years ago...
Yes, that is a Jurassic Park comforter. :p

Now those are things worth keeping/fighting for. I guess I just have nothing with enough history attached to it to make it worthwhile. I'll have to start that with my generation, I suppose.
Onions are God tier. Nothing comes even close to them (accept ofcourse garlic).
We cook a lot of Indonesian food at home, and fried onions is simply a must in about 90% of the dishes. That and garlic which is ofcourse also God tier.
I've never used the word God tier in my life. Damn you GAF
You said "God tier." For shame. For shame.
GOOD
KEEP THAT GUILT
I WISH I HAD NEVER LOST IT
Onions are absolutely delicious, especially caramelized. I don't actually like that many vegetables but the ones I do love include tomatoes, onions, olives, and zucchini, even if two of those are actually fruits.

Tomatoes, my worst enemy (except, I'll admit, in a sandwich or as a sauce. A good BLT is food of the gods.)
Tomatoes:
Make bread pink and soggy
When cooked are bitter and squishy
Spurt everywhere if you cut them wrong
Because they have too much juice inside
Which, again, makes everything soggy :<

You're my food brother.
I generally ask to remove tomatoes in food.
Sometimes I have just peanut butter, too bad I can't have much milk (sounds good though.)
If I'm in a restaurant I try to avoid anything that has tomatoes first.
Otherwise, generally people know not to give me tomatoes. My mother put tomatoes in curry once, I don't know what she was thinking. :<

What is it with girls and cheese? They either love it or hate it! Guys are way more neutral. Although, I, for the record, love cheese. My pickiness comes when something has cheese in it. I actually hate most cheeses, and those that I can take I only like in certain dishes/preparations. I don't know how many times I've been watching food network and salivating over some dish, and then gotten sad when they throw a handful of cheese right on top.
Olives and tomatoes, which is the third?

People are ragging on tomatoes now? I would die an ignoble, scurvy infested death without them.
