Coming off last week's quite-possibly-the-best-episode-of-the-series, it was a bit of a letdown, but the fact that they're bringing back Gene(?), the successfully-escaped soul, makes it very clear that we're getting to the end of the road. I'm just not ready for it to end.

The entire season has been fantastic. I've done what I can to watch every ep at broadcast, stream some of them for a second viewing at the site, tell my friends to watch this fuck-awesome show, etc etc etc. If this disappears I will be incredibly sad.

i believe his name is allen. at least if they work out an ending, they could put some sense of closure on the series, instead of a bs cliffhanger thats never resolved.

Did people really think last week's episode was best-of-series material? I honestly found it to be rather weak. It might be because Andi is all of a sudden turning into uber bitch material (which sucks because they admirably avoided that pitfall for a long time), but I thought this week's was the one people should be saying that about. Genius episode and Sock was extra great. Makes it even harder to let go of the best show on TV.

Whatever. I need to consult my fairybonemothers on this. :lol

I liked last week's because it had that campy, b-movie thing going on with the tentacle monster controlling the town and all that. I wouldn't say it was even close to best-of-series material though.

Just wondering, is your nick a reference to the show Bottom?

i agree. andi turning bitchy almost killed the episode for me. i wonder if theres going to be some reconciliation when she realizes that sam isnt going all evil like she expects....

i pretty much blame u for not watching earlier. you could have saved the show!

oh god i am so sorry

I really wish this show could've kept on going, what with the president from Red Alert 2 being an awesome Satan.

"I don't give a wooden nickel about your legacy, Romanov. You call them off!"

So now the gang has 2 problems. Nina for ben, and morgan for sam. Did anyone else think that meteor in the paper that sam was reading has any relevance to the story? God it sucks that the show is ending

Dare we hope that the production staff knew they were heading towards a moment of finality, and they ended the season accordingly? Otherwise, this is going to be painful on levels I haven't seen since Carnivale.

Don't remind me; that finale was brutal.

New episode tonight.

No Reaper Left Behind

Sam is sent to the home of the Devil's lover Sally so that she can teach him more of the "family business." She initially refuses, but realizing she can possibly help him out of his contract, Sam asks her to teach him anyways.

Sounds interesting. Shame I can't watch it live tonight due to work, but it should make for a nice pick-me-up when I get home.

I would hate CW if it werent for their support of Smallville and Supernatural.

but after (probably cancelling) Reaper and Privileged, you are treading on thin ice bitches.

Good episode. It was nice to have a lot more screen time for the devil.

I think I'd forgive Nina for just about anything too. She's smoking hot and can
invade my dreams any time she wants
.

:lol :lol the car sequence with nina was one of the funniest moments i can remember from reaper. omg when Cher came on i busted out laughing :lol

Yeah, the car sequence was classic, as well. :lol

now that Chuck is (imo, saved) we need to move onto Reaper. this shit needs more episodes, NOW. honestly i was more entertained this episode than Chucks finale, and thats not an insult. what a great episode.

although, how did he know that NERF gun would work? and :lol at cell phone reception in hell

The visual effects for this show are perdy good if you axe me,. I really do enjoy them.

Pretty solid episode. Nina is smokin. They should have had her makeout with another girl. It woulda saved the series from canceltown. That or make Sock and Ben gay.

The gun was a holdover from last season.

The nerf gun was a plot device from season one. If I recall correctly, Sam needed to send a soul to hell for which he did not have a vessel, so Gladys led him to a storage facility run by another demon, who gave Sam the ubervessel nerf gun, which can send anything to hell, unlike vessels which can only capture escaped souls.

Also, awesome episode. The car sequence, the donkey, the devil's "ki-ya!" scream before he broke through the window, and that streetwise old man pulling out a gun and straight asking for $400 were the highlights for me. And Sally could teach me a lesson anyday.

LOL so many hilarious moments :lol "you think you can demon-bang your way thru me to get to Ben" "well I thought bout bringing a friend but I wasn't really sure if you like girls or guys" man, the screenwriting in Reaper is consistently awesome

It's episode 1x16 - "Greg, Schmeg" - Here's a quick summary:

When the Devil refuses to offer Sam any help on capturing the latest escaped soul, the gang turns to Gladys for help. Gladys then takes the guys to her demon friend Dennis who at first refuses to help but later on offers Sam a homemade vessel [the nerf gun] because he feels sorry that his parents sold his soul to the Devil. Meanwhile, Andi's ex-boyfriend Greg returns and Sam discovers that he has a plan to get her back.

So it was the episode where the gang
was getting attacked by a mask-wearing maniac with a chainsaw,
if you remember that.

And the $400 thing was when Ben mentioned he wanted to own a gun to Sock and the old Indian guy working at the bench, who promptly pulled one out and just said "$400"
