Rebelstar Tactical Command

So far (mission 16) my main units are
Jorel (assault rifle, grenades, main point man)
Zak (chaingun, rocket launcher, heavy weapons guy)
Ruby (sniper rifle, 108% accuracy woot)
Carlos (sniper rifle, but also grenade duty)
Sapphire (medikit duty, grenades)
Eris (medikit duty, grenades, smg)

I'm feeling I'm not using Eris properly and her stats are weak, but I can't be arsed to use Gordo, and Glen is pretty much ignored as well.

Funnily enough I'm doing pretty much the same thing. I don't like Gordo's hair so he's cut. Glen has stupid glasses so he's cut too. (And also it helps me remember what I'm doing during a mission - with 3 males and 3 females, I can split the team evenly and remember who is in what group when I pick up the game again in the morning)

I tried having Zak use the rocket launcher, but found it wastes too many AP's reloading and the AP penalty by carrying all that stuff. I just discovered this morning that Heavy Armor reduces your accuracy, which explains why all of a sudden Ruby went down to 84% accuracy for me a few missions ago.

Eris improved for me as soon as I got rid of her default weapon and gave her a standard Assault Rifle.

One thing that's bugging me at the moment is that I can't seem to get people with medikits to heal themselves - they have to get someone else to do it. So now I try to have everyone carrying a medikit and spend some level up points on Medic skills.
