So I've been playing Soccer Physics like a madman lately whilst listening to podcasts/youtube, as it helps me focus and stop fidgeting around. I want recommendations for more easy games that don't require you to focus on them particularly hard. Just something that's mind-numbingly fun, with easy controllers that allows you to concentrate on what you're listening to. Preferrably offline games for PC.

I found out I can download a bunch of Flash games using .swf files and Ruffle. Going to have to remember back to some good ol' times. Happy to see they aren't lost to times. I especially remember spending a lot of time with the Matrix-esque Bullet Time Fighting.

Boring answer: I used to do this a lot, I think not concentrating on any one thing has had a negative affect on my attention span. It also meant that I didn't really pay enough attention to either thing so got less from both things. As a result, I've stopped doing it now and try to do one thing at a time instead.

That's POE2, which is much more complex than POE1.

POE2 is a more soulslike ARPG experience, whereas POE1 is basically run, gun, and pickup loot.

Terraria, minecraft, most Action Roguelikes like Vampire Survivors. Games with some brainless farming/collecting mechanic.
I'm currently playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf with Azahar (3DS emulator) and I find it very podcast friendly, especially when you go to Tortimer Island and grind badges or collect bugs.

Side tangent: Older Animal Crossing really have more interesting villagers with SPICE! They filed them down too much in New Horizon.

That's the honest truth. But sometimes I just want to zone out. But in the long run it's better to do only one thing as it gives the brain time to breathe and contemplate over the material.

I preferred Wild World vastly over New Horizons, which was only fun for a shorter while. It felt like it put way too much emphasis on building instead of the relationships. I felt like even the DS version had far more unique dialogue and made the villagers feel like individuals. I hope for a return to form in the next game.

I just got Chopper Strike for $1. You probably shouldn't buy it. It's just a stationary helicopter that shoots missiles at little army guys. I find it strangely relaxing.

Nothing at all. I liked d3 by the time I stopped playing it more than current d4. Adventure mode was fun. My only gripe is you can't play the PC version with a controller.

Now, you don't even have to worry about finding a game and the next month is taken as you go for a space adventure about humanity and the universe.

Rimworld has some down time and it's a comfy game but I wouldn't say it's easy.

Fantasy Life i is piss easy, but the first hours are tutorial heavy and you should be paying attention at least until things start rolling.

Maybe just play Skyrim on easy and have a walk?

Really? Whenever I play anno 1800 and try to play a vid/music I pause it less tan a minute later and forget about it for like an hour lol. There is too much shit going on all the time for me to focus on anything else and the in-game music is too good.

My favorite for podcasts have always been Diablo 2, 3, 4, and Path of Exile 2. Initially when you are learning a character and upgrades are dropping all the time you can get distracted, but once your character build is online the gameplay loop is completely mindless most of the time.
Vampire Survivors and Ball X Pit are both great. I am assuming MegaBonk is the same I just haven't played it.

I will definitely play FFXIV or WOW with podcasts going, especially if it is content I have done before. For new expansions/quests I turn the podcasts off.
