I was just cleaning out the My Videos folder on my computer (grandpa and his damn porn), and I came across that BBC Three special on how evil Nintendo is and how terrible seizures can occur in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! from the steps of the Princess' Cruise course flashing on the screen.

The worst part of that broadcast is when they are interviewing Minoru Arakawa, president of Nintendo of America for over 22 years (now retired). This dingy reporter essentially told Arakawa that Nintendo has rejected him and didn't want anyone talking to him.

If memory serves me well, I recall that someone posting here actually worked on this trash. Since it is BBC Three, it's not exactly award-winning material, but the "facts" and distortions of reality are laughable. Anyone associated to this should be embarassed. I'll upload the entire hour long 181MB AVI if people want to see it. The special basically looks at how Nintendo is the worst company on the planet... it's just one sided.

Industry insiders had to tell you that? What a fucking joke.

Honestly though, every line she speaks is quoteable.

Not that I've seen this special or think that the specific questions asked to Nintendo were appropriate, but I'd like to see more "Assertive and angry" questioning techniques used during game industry interviews. Too many of them are fluff pieces aimed at giving the company in question free PR and assuring a continuing supply of beta code and review copies to the media outlet.
