Utterly stunned. Ryan and Giantbomb have been a huge part of my listening life for years (I still have some of the old Arrow Pointing Down shows.) Even before that on Gamespot. Just really saddened; though I'd never met him he felt like a friend.

Thought the thread title was a joke. Where was their honeymoon? My mom's Dad died on vacation and it is absolutely horrible getting the body back and trying to organize everything. Condolences to everyone involved.

People dying over vacation is surprisingly common. Supposedly it just exacerbates any health problems you might already have, especially in regards to heart disease. The stress of travel, weird sleeping patterns, change in diet usually to richer foods, it all adds up. It's a time when people usually indulge more than usual, so alcohol gets thrown into the mix as well. Not saying that's what happened here, but it's a sad set of events when people pass during a time when they are enjoying themselves.

And he just got married too, that's so tragic. I feel so deeply for his wife, I can't even imagine marrying someone and then losing them in such a short period of time.

I hate to ponder the reason for his passing, but I do question it as on July 2nd I saw this posted on his twitter and quickly deleted.
